Probably are, we've got just about everything else here. People usually don't discuss their beliefs except in the religious forum, so I can't really point to any specifically.

Dead Corpse is Pagan.

But, uh... they don't usually hang out on the Religion Forum, y'know? Just not that many Samhain threads, and all...

We did have a gay, Wiccan, anarchist, tree-hugger from Eugene, Oregon once, but he left for some reason. Good luck.

I've run into several conservative pagans on this board, but I'm not sure if they hang out in the religion section. THe religion section tends to be about 1/4 15th-century Calvinists, 1/2 Catholics, (1/4 mainline Catholics, 1/4 ultra-traditionalist Catholics) and 1/4 everyone else (including several excellent regular Anglican posters).

Yes, I'm a pagan/wiccan, though not a very typical one, and increasingly a lip-service one. Too many pagans harbor knee-jerk opposition to any sort of efficient organization, and I find that pretty frustrating (though not as frustrating as the other end of the pagan spectrum: the Gardnerian wiccans, who insist that their demonstrably 1960s vintage rituals are actually of ancient origin, and must be followed to the letter or else -- that crowd has more in common with the "King James Bible is the literal and complete word of God" crowd, than either of those crowds likes to admit). I've run into at least half a dozen pagans here on FR -- can't recall their names though. Suspect they're all pretty atypical pagans too.

Well we have not had any Pagans speak up as yet, darn that would really make for good discussion.

I liked your idea for a thread on other Religeon types.

Btw are you a Pagan? Maybe if you are you can speak first. LOL My name is Oslandr and I am a Pagan.

By any chance are you Asatru? Looking at your handle, I wondered if that was the case. If so, your conservative positions will probably be pretty focused and balanced.

I've had the opportunity to talk with some Asatru and I was very impressed with their commitment to family life and personal responsibility. The ones I met were very Libertarian politically while at the same deriving a strong social conservatism from their religion.

I hope you hang around. Although we are miles apart in theology, we are probably closer in general outlook than either of us are to "mainstream" religions, pagan or Christian. Good luck!

Asatru. Was a Garderian pagan there for about ten years. Too many "hug the Earth" liberal flakes for me to stomach. Needed something that spoke more to the Warrior in my blood.

I'll risk a ZOT and say you should keep a low profile. Anything other than some kind of orthodox Christian beliefs don't seem welcome on FR.

I hope that politics trumps religion on Free Republic,
but I'm new and maybe it will become more clear.
