Isn't part of the definiton of mortal sin that a person has to know the matter is wrong and of serious nature? How can the acceptance of preaching of authentic Catholic faith by sspx be considered mortal sin? They are not consecrating bishops every Sunday, they are preaching the catholic faith! Their irregular situation is a matter of concern but for many Catholics, it's far less of a concern than their local bishop's heresy and material schism. Better sspx in albany than Hubbard.
