Never said it was... A free society thrives best in a free republic with a moral foundation. IMHO.
Theocracy is not necessarily a bad word. It depends who uses/misuses the concept. Many tyrants have (mis)used religion to accomplish command and control goals.
Personally, I'd like to see men in places of power who actually have given serious thought as to what is right and what is wrong.
I have thought about this a little.
There are no bad words. But there are bad things. Theocracy is one of them.
