cheap trick behind the most devastating lie in the history of mankind
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution_Poll ^ | 10/15/2003 | self

Here are the some of the results of a 1999 Gallup poll on creationism, evolution, and public education :
49% believe that human beings have developed over millions of years from less advanced forms of life.
Evolution theory is the most important weapon to twist people's minds.
For 99% of the people the most important REAL reason for believing in it : a trick that costed a few bucks, 100 years ago.
Even more incredible : the trick has remained the same until now.
Only lately, with very fast computers that allow virtual reality software to perform convincing enough, have we seen some effects added to the base trick.
I wonder who is the first Freeper to find out the trick behind the most devastating lie in the history of mankind.

One could make the strong argument that Communist states would not have been able to kill 100 million people in the 20th century if they had not believed in evolution, and the attendant atheist state that came with it.

One could also argue that they would not have been able to kill 100 million people if they believed in any level of human decency at all.

Let us contrast those guys with the Inquisitors, who killed plenty (and would have killed more, had they the power), even though they were as devout as can be. Or our current Muslims, who are the opposite of atheist, yet have no problems killing all the infidels they can get at. Neither of these groups believed/believes in evolution, yet that didn't/doesn't stop them. The only difference from the Communists is in scale.

No, I'm afraid that trying to pin human evil action on evolution won't fly.

"Let us contrast those guys with the Inquisitors, who killed plenty"

Yes, in fact, those evil Inquisitors, throughtout all it's centuries, killed less people than died during 3 average days under communism.

"The only difference between Communists is in scale."

That's like saying the only moral difference between throwing a grenade and throwing a nuclear bomb is in scale.

Four or five fossil species were wrong because most lists now say there were more? Especially if you include the dead-end branches?

That's the most devastating lie in the history of mankind?

More BS from the wacko Christian fringe. When will you guys shut your mouths. All you ever do is cause more people to flee the Republican party. Go your merry little way and start your own political party. That way the rest of the rational people can have our science and you all can go back to living in the 12th century.

So to start with, we have an imaginary human ape walking...

Sounds like a decent description of most of the australopithecines, except for the imaginary part.

Waddaya know? I got one right!

I've never seen communism as founded on evo but rather the theory of evolution fostered and promoted fanatically out of certain political necessities. You MUST remove the diety to enslave a people.

Kinda like the fear of religion mis-using government being a large concern when history seems to show a consistent mis-use of religions by governments and their despots.

To answer you, first of all I need to know what are you stating.
Are you trying to say that it is because of the pieces (parts of skulls or whatever they are) in your photo that people believe in evolution theory ?

Nope, that's Magicians Rule #2.

#1 has something to do with not allowing tigers to carry you around by the neck.

That's hardly all of it. I gave you a link to a section of an article. Fossil transitions are basically one of 29+ independent lines of evidence supporting evolution. Here's the whole presentation.
