Aw, man. Arnold coulda won if McClintock had dropped out. Tom'll never work in this state again.

Wait a minute. You mean Arnold won? How is that possible, since McClintock didn't drop out?

Absentee ballots are going to be the right-wing overdrive of this whole thing, too.

Maybe this will end some of the lame jokes about California.

As soon as I finish my latte and foot massage, I'm going to celebrate!

Did you see Jesse Jackson on FNC a few minutes ago saying they will file a lawsuit if anyone but Davis wins? Complained there weren't enough polling places, especially on college campuses.

Sean didn't challenge him and remind Jackson that the Democrats control ALL the key spots in California that make decisions where to have polling places.

Everything is racist these days.

I'd be interested to see the county by county breakdown. I wouldn't be surprised if McClintock eclipsed Cruz here in the San Joaquin Valley.

We need McClintock to run against Boxer in 2004 (God help us if that idiot Simon wins the Senate Primary.)

"Arnold's team wanted McClintock to STAY in the race because they needed his voters to vote "Yes" on Part I of the ballot. "

===

Arnold's team and all the Republican leadership wanted Tom to drop out from the very beginning, where are you getting this nonsense from?

If Tom had dropped out at the beginning, as Issa and Simon did, there wouldn't have been this fracture in the GOP, people would have supported Arnold and voted for the recall.

When you imply, that McC supporters wouldn't have voted, just out of spite, if McC weren't in the race, you are only pointing out that they didn't want what is best for CA or the R party, were only pushing a personality cult.

I don't want to continue the divisive arguments, but your statement was more than I could stand.

But...but...a high voter turnout is supposed to help the Democrats.

Not when the voters have a good case of mad.

Looks like in this case they just might have.

Yeh, but Jessie is pulling to get the Democrat areas to stay open until 10:00 to stop disinfranchizement. Every vote counts - except military and Republican votes, of course. It has to be "fair."

These are just the exit polls. the two million absentee ballots will probably go 80% for Arnie. I got my absentee ballot request form from the Arnold campaign and voted absentee. He could end up with 55% of the vote if enough McClintock supporters use their brains and think about the future rather than the moment.
