Then why is the Arnold camp reported to be "sky high" per Fox?
I have no idea, to be honest. Comparing notes around here, there were some precints that had a three percent Republican turn out. That's not three percent of the vote, that's three percent of the registered Republicans.
This may be in the bag - the main office should have a better idea than us peons doing the leg work. Absentee votes usually favor the Republicans - but even those numbers were horrid. One poll location I checked at 3pm had received a single absentee ballot delivered on election day... Typically there's dozens at that particular location.

And what exactly are "bigotry" charges? Isn't that where you marry more than one person? Oh, wait... nevermind.

The only picture I have ever loved to come out of CNN. I laughed so hard when I saw that live, I thought I was going to wet my pants.

I heard Mara -- she looks very unhappy and like you said gave the most convulted answer to why this would be bad for Arnold to govern because he wouldn't have a mandate or something to that effect! Mort doesn't look much better and Fred Barnes is on top of the world.
Doesn't take much to figure out how the election is turning out. When Mort talked about Arnold's campaign being skyhigh this morning he looked very unhappy!

This woman gives all women a bad name she's so incredibly stupid. No wonder she had to work for NPR to make a living. She's probably playing a role; she's confusing the issues on purpose.
Can anyone be that stupid?
To: cyncooper
Can you believe what liasson just said about As having to get more votes then Davis to get a mandate? These dims will grasp on to anything!!
To: MeeknMing
They are also reported to be filing "bigotry" charges against the Repubs for making minority districts use punch-card ballots. LOL
I hereby file "poopy-head" charges against Democrats.

That's odd. Where is this? Every from GOP heavy areas are reporting huuuge turnout. I vote in a Rat area, and turnout was light when I voted.
To: Fledermaus
And now she's blaming Karl Rove! Does she do anything but read talking points from the DNC? At least its a head's up for what they're planning.

It's of great interest to me to see if we can get Gray Davis frog-marched out of the governor's mansion in handcuffs
To: RedBloodedAmerican
Ouch! LOL, that's what he is going to say after tonight.

I think it's going to be a bad night for the Rats and they won't be able to gin up enough voter fraud crap to throw at the courts to make it stick.
I'll be here at 11:00 EST tonight to listen/watch for results and hopefully will be celebrating from South Carolina.

Mara sounded increasingly apoplectic in the second segment, "What's he gonna do?" if he cuts taxes. Well, Mara, he can let go some of the 40,000+ new government employees Gray hired, especially those positions that are "ghost" jobs with no one actually employed...and maybe just cut back all the social welfare giveaways the state has started up over the last couple years...
To: BlessedByLiberty
I heard that - like Karl Rove decides for everyone....how about Terri Bonebrake from High Ridge, MO wanted a moderate Republican to run for Governor in California???? Whatsa matter, don't I count??
To: BlessedByLiberty
The Rats make it so obvious how frightened they are of Karl Rove everytime they open their mouths to complain about him.

Eastern portions of Los Angeles county. The supposition is that people are just going to vote after work. The Arnold campaign has made two mass e-mailings in the last two hours encouraging people to get out the vote... Who knows, maybe I'm just being paranoid. All I know is that I really hope they got some good beer at the after election party.
