A PRAYER OF PROTECTION

The light of God surround you
The love of God enfold you
The power of God protect you
The presence of God watch over you
Wherever you are,God is,
And all is well.
Amen.

Bless This House

Bless this house O Lord we pray;
Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout,
Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall,
Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove
ever open to joy and love.

Bless these windows shining bright,
Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there,
with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within,
keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be
Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we
May dwell O Lord with thee.

The MHABGSITW has the flu and is home sick from school, so trip to my daughter's got postponed. So, while I woke up, I did a little more "coloring."

Don't panic, MoJo! I'm about to go work on your requests! But before I do, I need an "executive" decision:

I certainly hope my memory didn't fail me and this is how you spell it. (I'm a sidelines military supporter, you understand; never directly involved. You may recall that my late husband's military career was behind him long before we married. The closest direct involvement was back when I sent my daughter to Camp Perry a couple of times for these .22 match rifle camps; I'm not even sure what the camps were called, but I'm SURE it WAS Camp Perry! LOL)

< :::drumroll::: > The choices before the decision:

-or-

hoorah_unclesam1.jpg

I hope that's the proper spelling.

(Yes, Kathy: There is a wOOhOO using that "Uncle Sam O" too.) ;)
