It's so simple.....

..and maybe it's not so simple. There are a lot of people that puffed marijuana in the 70's and technically can not say I never used illegal drugs because it would constitute purjury and used to impeach them in court later.

He has nothing to fear, except the horrible truth of the War on Some Drugs.

One does hope that if the allegations turn out to be true that it will open his eyes to what's been going on.

I remember a day (years ago) he was slurring badly. It was before his hearing loss was publicized.
This was not the strange vocal tones I later noticed. It was true drunken slurring.
Then it became truly bizarre. Later in the program, he claimed that a hacker had gotten into his broadcast and somehow slowed his speech down and made him sound like he was stoned.
I vividly recall thinking that sounded very implausible.

As matter of fact, yes, they do. You would be STUPID NOT to hire the best if you can afford, regardless of guilt or innocence.

Thank you for being Judge and Jury, Miss Cleo.

Quit ducking, your going to hurt your back. I am refering to these current allegations regarding the prescriptions drugs, that have been all over the media for the past several days...

I neither illegally acquired prescription painkillers nor asked or allowed anyone to do so for me"?

Hmm let's try this Scenario.

Officer - "MR. Limbaugh, this is Officer Snuffy with the Palm Beach Police Department. Your maid has been implicated in an alliegal prescription drug operation. Would you will be willing to help us?"

...

Rush to maid "Man I sure wish I could get some more Lortabs, I am in so much pain"

....

Officer - "thank you for your cooperation Mr. Limbaugh"

Now, Can Rush make the statement above truthfully in this scenario? If this is the case, is it possible the Police have gagged him?

I do not know whether "hill billy heroin" (oxy contin) is a controlled substance. If it is then the Feds can threaten anyone under investigation with the RICO statutes.

Rush needs to be sure he has taken pee/hair/blood test and make sure they are done by SEVERAL renown labs.

The evidence chain must remain unbroken or it is inadmissible in court.

We have a friend who is on oxycontin for a bad back and tumor removal in her throat...she only takes the limit prescribed...she is spaced out or passed out most of the time, dull eyed and looks like death warmed over, she has memory problems like many drug addicts do. She is on codine and oxy, just 2 drugs, while this woman who along with her hubby have been arrested for dealing drugs says Rush is on 3, and taking THOUSANDS of these 3 drugs a month.

Rush looks great, clear eyed, no memory problems. He plays golf often when he takes time off in those celeb events.

How could this be hidden from KLintoon's FBI goon squad or DRUDGE for this many years. If Klintoon had this knowledge he'd of used it to ruin Rush years ago. It does NOT compute.

Rush also complained about how many pills the doctors had him taking during his hearing situation. He often talked of how people couldn't comprehend how many pills he had to take. The possibility that the accusations are more than a little merit to them are becoming more and more realistic.

Rush has millions of dollars. Why would he need to ILLEGALLY obtain prescription drugs? He could hire his own doctor to write him a prescription essentially whenever he wanted. If that doctor wouldn't do it, he could fire him and hire another one. There is absolutely no reason for him to try and obtain presciption drugs illegally through anyone other than a doctor.

Rush always attributed his weight loss to golf .... wonder if it was something else? Definitely more questions than answers. Seems as if his drug problems started after his mother died. Maybe that was the catalyst.

Rush looks great, clear eyed, no memory problems. He plays golf often when he takes time off in those celeb events.

I could chug a six pack of Heineken and still beat Rush on the golf course, so that hardly proves anything. By taking the 5th on his show, he has strongly implied that he is guilty of some kind of illegal drug use. Apparently he's also hired Roy Black to defend him, so that's another clue.

I have little sympathy for drug warriors who get hoisted by their own petards, but Rush has been somewhat sympathetic to the medical marijuana movement, so I'm having mixed feelings about the legal trouble he's in. On the other hand, Rush likes to refer to anyone who thinks marijuana should be legalized as a "long-haired, maggot-infested, dope-smoking FM type". It looks like Rush falls into the category of "thin-haired, market-invested, pill-popping AM type".

I don't know about the current situation but what you said isn't true.
