Rush has millions of dollars. Why would he need to ILLEGALLY obtain prescription drugs? He could hire his own doctor to write him a prescription essentially whenever he wanted. If that doctor wouldn't do it, he could fire him and hire another one. There is absolutely no reason for him to try and obtain presciption drugs illegally through anyone other than a doctor.

I am thinking that Rush PURPOSELY claimed---on the air---that he was having to "take so many pills" to keep a STING going.

It just does NOT make sense that he couldn't have LEGALLY gotten---and PAID FOR---whatever pain killers he needed. More and more, I think he was a KNOWING, WILLING PARTICIPANT in a STING to CATCH drug dealers.
