It is to be expected from anti-Bush, anti-American Kennedy. Hillary probably wrote his speech. Enough said. The President's speech was excellent and nothing can change that.

So glad Rush played that from Jennings! People want to know what is wrong in this Country -- need look no further than our leftist media who love to tear down if it isn't one of their fellow liberals speaking!

I think Bush has made it clear that we will do their job, if the UN fails to stand up to its own resolutions. And we'll go it alone if we have to.

I really have no idea about how many rogue states there are -- some names on the UN roster I don't even recognize! There must be a list someplace of the names!

"This is contemptible -- no wonder terrorist think they can attack the US and get by with it when we have morons like this in the United States Senate!"
The ususal 'no plan for peace' garbage was Kennedy's message. Funny how these dems of superior intellect can't come close to making effective statements like President Bush can.
It is Kennedy, Clinton and their ilk that got us in this mess!

Whatever happened to a "bipartisan foreign policy"? Remember when the opposition party used to support the Commander-in-Chief in times of war? No more, apparently. These Democrats are evil...and I think that is stating it mildly. I know not everyone here will agree with my perspective on this, but everything we are seeing today -- the war on terror, and the struggle within our domestic politics -- are battlefields of a spiritual war being waged. Pres. Bush has been correct to call the fight against terror a struggle between "good and evil," and apparently the Democrats have thrown in with evil.

A recent expose by a NYT reporter that certain other journalists in Iraq hid the truth from the world so they could have access in Iraq.
I disagree completely......they hid the truth because they did not want to give the President's charges against Iraq any credibility.
They willingly sacrificed the lives of the innocent people in Iraq to satisfy their own agenda.

I watched the President and was impressed with his address. When I graduated from college one of the first people I worked for used to spend time with me on various projects. He would quiz me on concepts and if I took more than a sentence to explain their essence he would challenge my grasp of the subject. My point is people miss the substance and depth of Bush because of simplicity. What they don't see is the clarity of his leadership and the wisdom, grasp and courage one must have to define the challenges as he does.

And that's the reason the media are covering up the good stories out of Iraq. They just refuse to give the President any credit for anything. The truth will emerge in time, though. I have nothing but contempt for the media and the Democrats.

Great speech from my President. His clarity is his greatest virtue to me. The plans are simple and have not wavered all along. It is the liberal wimps who lost their resolve and because every detail was not tidy, they are screaming.
I want to puke listening to Senator Kennedy. What vile and vicious rhetoric this man spews. I find it odd that he complains about the $87 billion when his state has one of the utmost highest tax rates to run that piddly little piece of land. My back yard is bigger than Massachusetts! The words coming from that man's mouth when it is KENNEDY and his immigration laws that have caused most of the terrorism in our country!
To: PhiKapMom
Thanks for posting this. It was a great speech and I'm glad I got to hear it with my own ears before the press spins it into something else.

President Bush did not stay for Chirac's speech, nor did Rice or Powell.
LOL! I love it.
I have a two word comment for Chirac.
Care to guess what it is? :-)

I hope they do. And I hope it gets exposed. Would love to see Wesley Clark taking money from international war criminals.

I heard the last 3 minutes of Kennedy and had to leave the room. He makes my blood boil.
From what I heard, he twisted the President's words.
He HAS NO MORAL CLARITY at all and shame on Massachusetts for re-electing him.

It is obvious that the DemocRATs want the US effort in Iraq to fail, and I sincerely hope that the American voters remember that in Nov 2004!
I think it is more the extreme left of the Democrats who want the US effort in Iraq to fail
