Radical Homosexuals Publish Guide Encouraging Homosexuality in the Young
Dear Colleague,
Today we report on a very disturbing development. The Human Rights Campaign, a radical homosexual lobbying group, has published a paper that encourages homosexual behavior and what they call "coming out." This group and this document should be fought by all people of goodwill. Scientific evidence shows that the lifesyle they promote is one that is fraught with disease and sadly even death.
Spread the word.
Yours sincerely,
Austin Ruse President

Radical Homosexuals Publish Guide Encouraging Homosexuality in the Young
The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the largest homosexual lobbying group in the country, has just published a "Resource Guide to Coming Out" which encourages and promotes those with Same Sex Attraction Disorder, especially the young, to announce their homosexuality in public. HRC describes "coming out" as "the opportunity to thrive and flourish as a full human being."
Among other things, the guide encourages homosexuals with children to come out to their kids because, according to the guide, "children always want to know the truth about their parents' sexual orientation."
The guide goes on to explain some of the intricacies of the homosexual world, for instance, that "transgender includes transsexual people and cross-dressers as well as anyone expressing gender characteristics that don't correspond with characteristics traditionally ascribed to the person's sex or presumed sex." It also attempts to delineate the reasons behind various forms of homosexual behavior: "transvestite" is a "psychiatric term describing men and women who cross-dress for sexual gratification. Many people, however, do not cross-dress for that reason, but do so to express their transgender nature - and prefer the terms cross-dresser, drag king or drag queen."
HRC, an extremely powerful lobbying presence in Washington DC and elsewhere, also encourages homosexuals to adopt children, to use sperm banks for artificial insemination, to become foster and surrogate parents. The guide appears to be part of a larger effort on the part of HRC to normalize homosexual behavior in the eyes of the young. For instance, HRC provides articles, with titles such as "Goodnight Mommies" and "Papa and Daddy," to homosexuals with children with tips on getting children to accept their parents' new homosexual relationships.
Pro-family observers have charged that HRC's public image, that of a human rights group calling for toleration and diversity, does not accurately represent the truly radical nature of the homosexual movement it represents. For example, HRC has a direct link on its website to the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA). ILGA was the first homosexual rights group to gain nongovernmental status at the United Nations, but lost this status when it was learned that some members of the group actively promoted pedophilia and homosexual activity between men and teenage boys. The notorious group North American Man Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) actually belonged to ILGA.
The initiation into homosexual behavior that HRC is promoting for confused adolescents and adults is thought by experts to threaten these people's physical and mental health. According to scientific data, homosexuals are particularly vulnerable to developing a range of diseases including hepatitis, gonorrhea, Giardia lamblia ("gay bowel disease"), anal cancer, and AIDS. Likewise, studies have found that the homosexual lifestyle is associated with a 40% shorter lifespan, compulsive behavior, violence, and increased risk for alcohol abuse and suicide. Studies also indicate that the average homosexual relationship is not monogamous, with hundreds or thousands of sex partners in a lifetime, with few such relationships lasting longer than two years.
David Morrison, a former gay activist who is now a prominent writer and speaker on Same-Sex Attraction Disorder, told Culture & Cosmos that "Coming out in the self-described gay community serves almost as a ritual of admission and recognition, almost akin to baptism." He adds, "To the extent that 'Coming Out Day' is meant to build support for active homosexuality, it is pernicious and genuinely not in the deepest interest of men and women living with SSA. In the young, in particular, it helps to cement the notion that one is gay or lesbian."

I would very much appreciate hearing others' thoughts.
Catholic Caucus: Anyone care to address Pram's points here?
My own view can be summed up thusly: "They've corrupted the system beyond repair, but unfortunately its still too early to shoot the bast*rds."
I would be careful though. I don't know if its happening below the college level or not but some "Catholic" colleges are officially promoting homosexuality. It wouldn't suprise me in the least to find such a thing happening at the high school level in some places.
Our diocesan Catholic schools have both sex ed as well as an offensive "AIDS curriculum" that begins in kindergarten. Not even our public schools have the latter, and our diocese does not allow parents to opt out their children! The local "Christian" private schools are both implicitly and explicitly anti-Catholic.
As I said: Homeschool!
"They've corrupted the system beyond repair, but unfortunately its still too early to shoot the bast*rds."
There is only one effective weapon at this point. You fire it on your knees.
Shalom.
The absolute desperate desire for approval in homosexuals surely has it's roots in the normal human desire for approval, but the homosexuals take it to a pathological level.
I don't run around telling fellow employees "I'm straight". I don't feel it necessary that they know what goes on in my bedroom. I don't discuss sexual practices in detail.
The silly lines about "reducing fear" and fear of the unknown" is sheer idiocy. They need to think about reducing disgust about what IS known.
Back in the Closet
Until 1973, it used to be thought of as a psychiatric disorder.
Amen and amen. (But I'm still fighting in addition to praying ;-)

One of the existing pro-family organizations, such as the Family Research Council, must transform itself into an organization that is first and foremost a political action committee. And it must take vigorous political action at every level, from the presidential race to local school board races.
This must be its message:
"If you want our political contributions and the votes of our members, if you want our members working as volunteers for your political campaigns, you will vote for legislation and school curriculum changes that steadfastly oppose the gay agenda at every turn. No gay marriages, no gay civil unions, no gay adoptions and no gay foster parenting. A legislated ban on anal sex by any couple, straight or gay, with the stated legislative purpose of protecting public health. A school curriculum that teaches children that anal sex is more dangerous than smoking, and that they shouldn't even try it. Judicial nominees who understand that such measures are completely consistent with our Constitution."
Each member has to put his money, his volunteer time and efforts, and his vote where his mouth is. When political candidates start seeing campaign money and volunteers that exceed those provided by such outfits as HRC, they'll start doing the right thing.
