"Another word: private or parochial school."

I would be careful though. I don't know if its happening below the college level or not but some "Catholic" colleges are officially promoting homosexuality. It wouldn't suprise me in the least to find such a thing happening at the high school level in some places.

Our diocesan Catholic schools have both sex ed as well as an offensive "AIDS curriculum" that begins in kindergarten. Not even our public schools have the latter, and our diocese does not allow parents to opt out their children! The local "Christian" private schools are both implicitly and explicitly anti-Catholic.

As I said: Homeschool!

"our diocese does not allow parents to opt out their children"

When we lived in the diocese of Richmond there was a big argument between a couple of the parents and the bishop and school. The parents felt that the curriculum was far to explicit but were not allowed to have their children exempted. If I remember correctly they ended up sending their children to public schools because they could opt out there.

My daughter attended the same Catholic school and her only memory of sex ed was being told by the 5th grade teacher that 25% of them would be homosexual. Go figure.
