I would very much appreciate hearing others' thoughts.
Catholic Caucus: Anyone care to address Pram's points here?
My own view can be summed up thusly: "They've corrupted the system beyond repair, but unfortunately its still too early to shoot the bast*rds."

There is only one effective weapon at this point. You fire it on your knees.
Shalom.
One of the existing pro-family organizations, such as the Family Research Council, must transform itself into an organization that is first and foremost a political action committee. And it must take vigorous political action at every level, from the presidential race to local school board races.
This must be its message:
"If you want our political contributions and the votes of our members, if you want our members working as volunteers for your political campaigns, you will vote for legislation and school curriculum changes that steadfastly oppose the gay agenda at every turn. No gay marriages, no gay civil unions, no gay adoptions and no gay foster parenting. A legislated ban on anal sex by any couple, straight or gay, with the stated legislative purpose of protecting public health. A school curriculum that teaches children that anal sex is more dangerous than smoking, and that they shouldn't even try it. Judicial nominees who understand that such measures are completely consistent with our Constitution."
Each member has to put his money, his volunteer time and efforts, and his vote where his mouth is. When political candidates start seeing campaign money and volunteers that exceed those provided by such outfits as HRC, they'll start doing the right thing.
