Following the spectacular success of our Bryant Park Rally last month (10,000 people before we stopped counting!) the New York State Dean campaign is capping off Dean Visibility Day -- Saturday, September 20th -- with a star-studded event at Avalon, the brand-new Manhattan club that mere mortals (and non-Dean supporters) have to wait outside of for days just hoping to sneak a peek inside.
But for a small donation Dean supporters can come hear Governor Dean as he speaks live to his hometown crowd in New York City!
Joining the Governor will be some amazing musical and comedy performers including:
- Al Franken, political satirist and author of the BRILLIANT new book, Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right. #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. Take that Ann Coulter! www.al-franken.com
- The legendary Miss Gloria Gaynor performing some of her greatest hits, including "I Will Survive!" www.gloriagaynor.com
- Oscar-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg, star of "Whoopi," her eponymous new comedy series on NBC! www.nbc.com/Whoopi/
- The incredible Phoebe Snow, one of the great pop and rock vocalists of all time! www.phoebesnow.com
It's going to be a fantastic event that's sure to sell out. To guarantee admission (and speed your progress through the line), you can pre-register by clicking here:

Now that we have got your attention, why not get your buddies in on the fun! Head over to the website and invite all your friends.
We'll see you at the Avalon (6th Avenue and 20th Street) at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday night!

Looks like Dean has realized his lilly whiteness isn't something the racialists in the Democrat party look kindly upon.

Take that Ann Coulter! Perhaps frunken will dazzle the audience with his stuart smalley bit..I hear he got Tom Cruise, Gwynneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey, Danny DeVito and Steven Spielberg to do cameos for "Stuart Saves His Family 3"...should be a hoot..

It sounds like a Saturday Night Live comedy sketch from the 80s -- appropriately enough for Franken. However, since the musical characters will be played by themselves, it might be more like the Garry Shandling Show.

Let's hope Dean will be the 'has been' of the event.
Whoopi Goldberg happens to be one of my favorite actors. She displayed very diverse acting abilities in some of my favorite films; such as: The Color Purple, Sister Act, Corina Corina.
Gloria Gaynor's hit 'I Will Survive' is still popular.

That's what I was thinking. Or Hollywood Squares. Hey, maybe if they play their cards right, they might be able to persuede Eric Roberts to join this star studded cast....

The suprise guests will be the cast from the hit TV show "The Partridge Family" and the guy from "Leave it to Beaver" that played Eddie Haskle. WOW!

I think it's time to bring back Emmet Tyrell's "Enemies List".

Danny DeVito Please tell me he is not a leftist. I like Danny.

Oscar-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg, star of "Whoopi," her eponymous new comedy series
OK I'll ask the idiot question - what the heck does eponymous mean?
More important , could this website be anymore pompous and elitist?

Phoebe Snow - Lackawanna hear her sing.

It mean it's based on her name. For example, if it was the "Republican Red" show it would be your eponymous new comedy series....

They tell us Al Crankem's new book is BRILLIANT and yet they feature a picture of him that perfectly conveys his stupidity and repulsive nature. He looks like a cross between Alfred E. Neumann and the sniper from Dirty Harry.
