Truly odd... they tested my IQ as 91, yet I've taken three real IQ tests before, and my IQ was 156, 162, and 168 respectively. Perhaps I did something wrong...

136 and still double posting? ;-)

Test results vary a huge amount. Some are verbal, some are visual, some are mathematical. I've scored anywheres between 117 and 158, depending on the test, and the phase of the moon. Take the exact same test two days in a row, and I promise the results will differ by at least ten points. My average is 150, which is exactly the same as it was in 4th grade.

I'm glad you started this thread.
It gives me occassion to ask wiser heads about this question on that test:
"Which one of these five is least like the other four?
"Mule
"Kangaroo
"Cow
"Deer
"Donkey"
Does anyone know the correct answer and why? I can't make up my mind between choosing Kangaroo or Mule.
The answer might be kangaroo because it is a marsupial while the others are mammals.
Or the answer might be mule because mules are hybrids, while the others are not hybrids.
Or am I thinking too hard because the answer is that kangaroos have two legs or something?
To: 4mycountry
Or is it cow because that's a female?

142. It called me a visionary philospher too. I reckon that's different from non-visionary philosopher. 144! (and also a visionary philosopher)
Since there were only 40 questions, I guess they either time the thing or use a random number generator.

Mine was 118. They said I was a vitual moron and I should get help when crossing the street and that I probably voted for Gore in the last election.
Well I NEVER!

Well, I thought I had it right until you had to go an muddy my head with all that logic. I put kangaroo because of the two legged thing.

It was England ... which isn't a country. It's part if the United Kingdom, so it's more like a state, but if you checked that answer you would probably have been marked down. These tests are stupid.

Cow doesn't fit--it's the only one that's sexist.

Are you trying to say that really smart people wouldn't spend any time at all on this? Those are probably the smartest people of all!
