Howdy, neighbor! I'm in San Diego too. Your post is worth a repeat!
Yes. I'm from San Diego and I'm not represented a Governor, two Senators, Federal or State Representatives, nor a city counselman. Sure, you bet I'm going to hold out for Conservative principles (NOT).
I don't see McClintock getting more votes than Arnold, if either of the other drops out. Arnold is getting new votes that would not exist, if he were not running and true conservatives are not so dumb that they wouldn't know what their only choices are.
I also don't see any political future for McClintock in the Republican Party if he rides this out to the end. The only good thing about his staying in a little longer is the Dems won't have time to change their campaign to save Davis, once the polls favor Arnold in a two man race.

Here's an ad hominem (notice the spelling): Lord Love a Duck!
Maybe I was wrong -- attacking the medium instead of the message isn't beneath you.
Can't help but notice you overlooked your little "racist" vs. "xeonphobe" contextual peccadillo.
It looks like your own posts do not stand up well under scrutiny. Perhaps you should apply for a vitrified stomach.
There is neither spell nor grammar check on FR. I do not espouse illiteracy as a standard medium here, but I understand when the poster clicks "Post" because he/she is more concerned about what is being said than whether it passes syntactical and/or spelling muster.

When you go off the rails, it certainly isn't on little matters, is it?

Can't help but notice you overlooked your little "racist" vs. "xeonphobe" contextual peccadillo. Lighten up. Anyone who makes fun of the accent of an immigrant could very well be a racist, though they are at least a jerk.
Why do you insist on going around this tree, over and over?

"What the Schwarzenschmucks don't understand is that even if McClintock drops out of the race his supporters will NEVER vote for Ah-nold.
Schwarzenegger should stick to acting."
Very True.
If McClintock drops out of the race, I will drop out of voting in this recall election. No way will I vote for a Democrat posing as a Republican.
Can anyone tell me what good it would do to send someone to Sacramento with the people of California relying on him to fix the sitation... who will apply further expansion of Socialist Policies... all while wearing the Republican name.
Is it better to have: (a)fake-Republican Arnold wearing the Republican name or (b)the Democrats that created this mess...
at the helm as these policies drive the state to fiscal ruin?
Do we really want a "Republican" Governor in charge when his Socialist policies and programs finally sink the state?
An Arnold win would be a huge loss for the Republican Party and its reputation.

Arnold is fervently in favor of killing babies. By the same logic McClintock is fervently in favor of partial birth abortion.
Arnold would support the march of gay rights and probably cave on such issues as gay marriage.
McClintock given the chance to vote against the Domestic Partners Bill, did not vote.
In addition, as McClintock says more explicitly, Arnold would cave on raising taxes.
McClintock will cave on Prop 13 when given a chance to trade it for his flat one rate fits all income tax.

as it is rude to diss the Pope, as in your rejection of Catholic dicipline on the matter of a married Latin Rite Priesthood.I've never dissed the Pope on celibacy; I disagree with the discipline.
Mandatory celibacy is not a matter of doctrine, so Catholics are free to disagree with it. In fact, mandatory celibacy is now required only for Catholic men who become priests; Protestant converts are not required to practice celibacy.
But, things are moving in my direction, what with the Anglican dispensation and the married diaconate.

My question is: where is the White House in this?
Why doesn't Bush have his people in CA making McClintock an offer he can't refuse?
McClintock can't win. Arnold can. Even if Arnold dropped out, his support would NOT go to McClintock. Polls show that. Only Arnold can beat Bustamente.
A governor of your own party is an asset in a Presidential year. Governor Arnold could put California in play for 2004. Governor Bustamante could end up as Hildebeast's running mate.
The Bush team has to know this. Why haven't they made it clear to McClintock that, if he wants a future in politics...get out now.

Me too, ditto and all that. I just can't see Cruz winning! I am going with the one who can beat him on election day.

Lighten up. Anyone who makes fun of the accent of an immigrant could very well be a racist, though they are at least a jerk. You are the one who keeps attacking people for their imprecise and/or un- or under-grammatical prose. And "could very well be" is an intellectually lazy answer. It is like saying you "could very well be" a cross-dressing homsexual naxi Bustamante supporter
Why do you insist on going around this tree, over and over?
I gleefully hoist people on their own petard. And I assume by "over and over" you mean "once."

Are you not a permanent ordained Deacon in the Latin Rite?
If that is so, how can you so cavalierly reject Catholic discipline? Were you not required to assert fidelity to both Catholic teaching and Catholic discipline?

The Bush Team controls the Republican party?
Since when? GW Bush is giving the GOP nearly as bad a name as his father did when he raised taxes and broke a iron-clad GOP principle.
GWs spending is absolutely out of control. He let Ted Kennedy write the massive Education Bill. He is caving in to Democrats on Domestic issues like I cannot believe.
GW Bush is making me wonder if he's truly a Republican.
McClintock CAN win. He has even stated that he would consider withdrawing if Arnold would meet in him a live debate telling the people of California why he is the preferred candidate.
Of course, Arnold refuses such an offer because he knows he is in over his head.
An Arnold would would be horrible for the Republican Party. We have enough RINOs in office as it is.

RE: #70 Every comment of yours hit the bull's eye.
Pressure is on McNader, but to date, he remains fixated on staying in the race to the bitter end, and bitter it shall be if he pulls enough votes to throw the election to Cruz.

Arnold may not have a chance of winning if voters make the same mistake on the ballot as one radio caller made. Caller on an LA radio station said he voted for the wrong Schwartz.....
ClickOr George B. Schwartzman, the nonpartisan owner of a medical services company in San Diego, who wants junk food removed from public schools.
