KFI AM Radio just reported that Gov. Gray Davis is planning a "secret" signing ceremony for SB 60, a bill to give illegal immigrants drivers licenses, tonight at 6 p.m. at Plaza de la Raza Park in Lincoln Heights, California.

All english-speaking media outlets have been SHUT OUT of this event, but the news of the ceremony has been splashed over spanish-speaking media outlets inviting the public to attend!

Gov. Gray Davis' office is denying that a ceremony is planned, according to an exclusive report by Eric Leonard, reporter for KFI Radio in Los Angeles.

One thing is certain, the number of Absentee Ballots in California for the 2004 presidential race will INCREASE.

Also added to the absentee ballot numbers will be ballots sent to fake identities and to people who really live out-of-state or even worse, out of the country!

(oh yeah, that accounts for the illegal vote already...)

I got an email from Tom tonight - they are already gearing up - both referendum and lawsuit!

What I'm wondering is, is how they're going to get driver's licenses if they don't have birth certificates or social security cards, or licenses from other places? Don't they have to have some documentation to get driver's licenses?

What are they going to do about that, falsify those documents? Doesn't California belong to some kind of system where they check out licenses from other states or areas?

What doesn't add up are Bush's views on terrorism and his open border policy. They appear incompatible. Either his views on the need for a war on terrorism aren't entirely sincere (or else the borders would be closed), or he's willing to threaten our national security in order to pander to the illegal vote (while the rest of us are subjected to the patriot act). Either way, it doesn't look good.

This is pay back to those Davis feels are responsible for his ouster...I think you may have hit the nail on the head. I know a few months back, when he didn't get the tax increase he wanted, the Gov. of Kentucky waspishly declared that the state didn't have enough money to house/maintain all the jail birds. So he turned loose a lot of them- and I'm not talking about just "non-violent offenders" . Some really nasty ones were given thier walkin papers,too. Not surprisinly the governor's attitude was: "Hey, you were the ones who wouldn't vote the state more money."

I heard this same claim from a caller to Walter Williams (Rush stand-in) today. Interesting... I heard a caller on a local talkshow arguing that we should give illegal aliens I.D. "so we would know who they were"... and the guy just acted completely impervious to the idea (as communicated by the host) that the illegal alien getting the I.D. would probably lie about who he/she/it was.

Now, I'm beginning to think this is one of those orchestrated "seminar caller" operations...

But they deserve no better, for having sat their on their fat posteriors on the couch, electing Demonrats (by not voting at all, if nothing else) for years on end...

and that is why the California ID will no longer be valid elsewhere...in a quick 15' ceremony Davis has now made my California legal citizenship worthless in other states that will now not recognize it...does that mean I have to bring my passport to Vegas?

Tom Tancredo, this morning on the Rick Roberts show in San Diego (when he announced the deny funding bill) had another bombshell which has not gotten the publicity.

He quoted from the US Code, a law (felony) for aiding and abetting an illegal alien in aquiring documents etc. I need to find out more, but he said any US Attorney could charge Davis et al as conspirators, and they could get 5 years for EACH illegal they were trying to scam through!

Davis and x42 are actually brothers under the skin; this smacks of last minute pardons for sale by the outgoing President. Personally, I think AG Ashcroft and Secretary Ridge need to evaluate the threat of terrorism to this country in having a large block of illegals granted de facto citizenship and probable voting rights, just in time for an election. Please, please someone file a lawsuit!

And I also asked earlier on another thread why everybody is giving Davis a pass on the "I didn't do anything criminal" line? Recall is NOT impeachment so it does not require a crime to be valid (but that's probably the only line x42 can advise Davis to utter), and selling government action for money or advantage IS bribery and extortion.
