I see that the gov's office is stonewalling on this. How about some Spanish-speaking Freeper call up his press office and pretend to be a reporter from the Spanish-speaking press and ask where the event is?

This is because a bright light has been shone on these cockeroaches. The lawsuit, if it is well supported would be publicized on every talk radio outlet we could find. Mecha would be called to answer difficult questions. In addition, we could name the universities individually or en masse as co-defendants. This would create a large amount of unwanted publicity for each and every university.

How about the ADL, Southern Poverty Law Center, ACLU, NAACP, just about every group that cries "foul" on other groups? What do you think they would think of a very large group that espouses racist propaganda at EVERYONE, but Hispanics? Paging Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton, Nation of Islam, Black Panthers.

I'm just imagining Louie showing up at a MeCHA rally with a few buddies ;-D

This bill applies to ALL ILLEGALS.

Why in the world should crimminal behavior ever be rewarded? Liberal logic is nonexistant.

But that is just the point. They haven't done anything. They have ignored this. Mecha has been just under everyone's radar screen. The organizations you mention have their own agendas and won't waste their own resources on a lawsuit like this.

Once the lawsuit is created and presented, they all may jump on board to hog publicity. Which, by the way, would be just fine, let them. Since there is so much negative publicity on the BustaNazis right now, it would be a perfect time to present them with the lawsuit. It would garner tremendous press. I was thinking that some conservative think take out here might be a good place for it to be from. The lawsuit would have to be bullet proof.

There is a provision in the bill which prohibits the use of information sharing between the DMV and law enforcement agencies.

This is not going to fly. States share DMV information with law enforcement in every state. When a vehicle is pulled over, the driver's license number is run against NCIC and other systems. There must be a means of determining if the license if valid or suspended. Wants and warrants are also run against the DL number.

If California witholds driver's license information from other states, those other states should immediately put a checkpoint on any road coming in from California. Turn back any driver with a CA drivers license. Rental car agencies should cease honoring a CA DL as well.

I followed that story very closely. I was born in South Gate, CA, a few (ahem) decades ago. Despite the Latin drift of the screen name "elbucko", I'm a "Gringo". The people of South Gate had help from the State regarding city corporation laws, but never-the-less, they cleaned up their town.>>>>>>

hahaha.....love it.....South Gate's story caught my eye, because I've spent MANY hours "cruising" Tweedy Blvd. (a few (ahem) decades ago). Glad to hear SG is clening up the town. I lived in Downey several years (in my teens) and still have relatives in the Frisco area.

I cannot believe "our electeds" just sit back & allow this beautiful state be invaded & led into bankruptcy.

I don't think Mexico's elite would ever allow an annex. Mexico's elite are *running* Mexico exactly the way *they* want it run. Money & benefits for THEM and *nada* for the rest of the mexican population.

The provision is for when the illegal applies for the license, not when he is operating a vehicle.

All Arab terrorists are changing their names to Carlos and Jorge and are making their way to Cullyfoahneea as fast as their plastique shoes can get them there.

They may be singing
"If you're going to Cullyfoahneea...
Be sure to hide some anthrax in your hair...
If you're going to Cullyfoahneea,
You will find some open arms there...
All across the nation...
It's a terror celebration... yeahhh."

The DMV admits that they are counting on the honesty and integrity of all Californias' to not register to vote if they are illegal immigrants.

If California can not reasonably assure an accurate vote count, their votes can not be allowed to count in the upcoming federal Presidental Election. IOW's California is disallowed from participating in the `04 Presidental election.

Of course you are correct when you point out that MeCHA is flying under the radar screens. I had never heard of them until recently.

My idea is roughly for different organizations to come together for the common good. Can't remember their exact motto: for us everything, for everyone else...nada. You know what I mean. If some of the more ethnocentric elements could be persuaded to check out the organization and Bustamante's ties, not to mention the complete disappearance of MeCHA's website, I'd think they might be interested. A little heads up might be a good thing in this case. MeCHA after all just doesn't want to get rid of whitey...there are Asians, Pacific Islanders, African Americans, because after all...we're one big happy melting pot :-)

A lawsuit of course is the best way to go. It is a straightforward, legal avenue to address this issue. No one should tolerate racist organizations. Especially on school grounds.

Does anyone know what MeCHA'a position on homosexuals is? Now there's a lobby!

This is hilarious. All the illegals in the USA are now looking at California with longing eyes.

The result, mass migration of illegals from other states to California. Second, pervasive racist agitprop in many other states to pass equivalent laws. California is f(*ked, and it's going to drag the rest of the country with it.

I notice this was removed from "Breaking News." Shouldn't this stay in "Breaking News," so that FReepers can find out where to go to FReep?

I would think this is just as illegal as the medical marijuana bill that the feds shot down. I don't think CA can legally enact such a fiasco. This is just politics.
The sad part is that NO ONE in power will do a damn thing about it for fear of the dreaded cries of racism. The saddest part is that a few years ago, American soldiers fought and died for that land. Now we're ready to give it up just so we can be PC and not hurt anyone's feelings. What has happened to us?

You are failing to see this from the Revolutionary context, in which the collapse of California paves the way for power for La Raza.
