WHY wasn't this guy working on a DESCRIPTION for the police while he waited for the bomb squad if he was actually kidnapped for this robberyProbably the stupidest question of the year. If it were me the last thing I could focus on is calmly giving the police a description while they run away from me.
up until that comment I was willing to give you slack about not being some sort of gov't paid shill. Now I need to chose between that or a nutcase.

I thought maybe it was of *those* nifty *toys* used, so they can say....'whip me, beat me, make me write bad checks.....
and bad bank robbing notes'.

You're right...Why wasn't he giving a description or telling the details of whomever "hijacked" him. Sounds like the phone call was just a ploy to meet someone he knew and in the end, he detonated it himself. Probably an ex-con deal.

I wonder if the alphabet soup goobers are looking at the lists of pizza's delivered in the past six months? I'm sure this guy had to be probed or summed up on previous occasions by those involved?
Pizzaria's are also notoriously ethnic businesses. I wonder what nationality persists in the owner or his circle of friends?

Did the bomb blow his head off? Yes it did. You could see it on the film. It was posted on another thread.
Reminds of the one on the Columbian woman, Elvia Cortes in 2000.
Colombian Collar Bomb Story
Elvia Cortes before this bomb (put there by FARC scumbags) blew her head off.
This is a very popular means of extortion in Colombia/Venezuela. It is no longer sensationalized because they fear it will spread, but it has spread nonetheless. Venezuelan police have successfully disarmed one not long ago.

What does the phrase "working to arrive at" indicate to you - that you a) have arrived at a solution or b) are working toward a solution? I thought I was quite clear, but, maybe not for you ...What's your point? As far as I can tell, your only point is that I am undecided.
I conjecture, however, that you are decided.

So far nothing's adding up.Characteristic reply by one who is assuming the individual involved had the faculties, mental resources and current prescence of mind that *you* have when you look at this thing (presumably) rationally.
Inability to put yourself into his shoes, into his mental state, into his frame of mind will blind you to what he saw, what he perceived - whether it was crushing, mounting debt, the threats of a loved one wanting to leave a marriage or the state about to take his children ...

Also rare if it's a one-shot. Although the next one might be a litttle less obvious than a neck collar.

That's a good reminder...I remember that story now.
It's a long shot, but maybe they've modified their M.O. a bit...

Overblown appraisal ... based on what - a very poor quality picture of the 'collar cuff' on a website?Um. _BATF? You might wanna quit when you're behind. blackdog sounds like he knows a little about metalworking.

Yeah! A guy walks into a bank with a neckcuff bomb around his neck in a rubber mask and a gag, hands the teller a note that say's "mistress Devine Ouch sent me to humiliate myself and while I'm here, hand me all the cash. And if you want to put that cigarette out on my nipple, I'd consider it a kind parting moment"!

I'm sorry, your bid was not high enough - now they must pay the penalty.

Inability to put yourself into his shoes, into his mental state, into his frame of mind will blind you to what he saw, what he perceived - whether it was crushing, mounting debt, the threats of a loved one wanting to leave a marriage or the state about to take his children ...That's a reasonable statement.
One of the first you have made on this thread so far.
