Come one, come all -- comment on this year's freak show. It began with three sluts on stage in their underwear.

I don't think she's underage anymore. I do not know how old she is but she looks really young and heterosexual for tennis.

The big knock on her is that she never seems to be able to win the big matches. Of course, she has other attributes that compensate for that (VBEG)

I have to agree with you, 100%! If I may add another to your list, Jennifer Conoley.
Yeah, she's pretty cute too. Great acting in "A Beautiful Mind," liked her in "Dark City," and I have to admit I was intrigued by the booby shots in Career Opportunities (the movie stunk though).

Boy, I'm glad I don't have TV. Saw a picture on Drudge. I'm going to ask a question. It may be stupid but here goes.
I've heard of women giving each other a kiss on the lips or the cheek, but does any normal woman kiss any other normal woman like this.

I had to leave the place cause I couldn't handle that guy's music. I like George Clinton. He's the Good Clinton. You should be thankful they didn't hire Roger Clinton to play at your formal.
(Where's my Parliament CD?)

There sure is a media backlash over Anna's salary. Not anger that she wins too many prizes, but that sponsors give her money for endorsements because she's popular, not a talented tennis player.
The same media shuts their mouth when untalented but popular musicians get big contracts. Even when it is revealed that the artist lipsynch live performances, the press shrug their collective shoulders.

I didn't like KISS when they were a "new" band back in the mid-70s. They didn't scare me (even though I was in the low digits of grade school). I thought that the makeup was stupid. Then there was the whole "They never take their makeup off" gimmick.
So much of what those guys did was marketing outside of the music. I still haven't listened to any of those albums.
I'll hear a cut now and then like "I wanna rock & roll all night, and party every day" and think that's a good rock song but the "corporation" around that song was just too hokey for me.
In retrospect The Bay City Rollers' "Saturday Night" was also a good song. Dee Dee Ramone even thought so; I'd say that the Ramones' Rock & Roll Radio has a lot in common with it. Both bands seemed to be looking backwards to Phil Spector recordings from the 1960s. The Ramones and the New York Dolls certainly had the same old records in their collections too (Dee Dee discusses this in his autobiography Lobotomy).

Milli Vanilli NEVER sang the songs, not even on the albums yet they got the Grammy award. Today's pop acts record their songs and then lip synch to those cuts in their dance shows that are made to resemble concerts. It's still them dancing.

Totally manufactured "edgy" "punk". Total waste of CD plastic and packaging. I can't believe people are buying it. I sure didn't / wouldn't.
Her 15 minutes of quasi-fame are about up.
