Freepers call to action re. Terri Schindler-Schiavo. Make a complaint against Judge Greer:

Freepers, we may be able to help Terri:

I made some phone calls today and have the ULTIMATE PHONE CALL for registering a Complaint against Judge Greer. I can't reveal my sources but this is the phone number for a few pay grades above J. Greer.

Call the: Judicial Qualifications Commission at

#1-850-488-1581. I am complaining to them tomorrow that J. Greer isn't God, that he's been in the husband's corner since Day One, he doesn't care a wit about Terri's parents or her husband's attempt at medical neglect, and I'd like to know if Greer can be recalled or impeached.

HE SHOULD HAVE OR COULD HAVE HONORED GOV. BUSH'S REQUEST TO ASSIGN A GUARDIAN AD LITEM to represent Terri's interest instead of once again, taking the side of the husband. Judge Greer is from the Sixth Circuit Court, Pinellas County.

Oh, and ping everybody you can think of.

From summer:

"..do a separate thread asking people to call this phone number FV provided. This could get a guardian appointed if the judge is tossed off the case for BIAS."

8 Jeb Bush intervenes for Schindler-Schiavo -   WND | 8/26

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has asked a judge to delay setting a date for removal of a feeding tube sustaining the life of a brain-disabled woman, Terri Schindler-Schiavo.

In a letter, Bush asked Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Judge George W. Greer yesterday to keep her alive until a court-appointed guardian can "independently investigate the circumstances of this case and provide the court with an unbiased view that considers the best interests of Mrs. Schiavo."

(WND article excerpts, cont.:) "On Friday, the Florida Supreme Court refused to intervene in the case, clearing the way for a Sept. 11 hearing in which Greer would set a date for removal of the feeding tube.

Terri's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler of Gulf Port, Fla., have been locked in a decade-long legal battle with their son-in-law over the care and custody of their daughter, who suffered massive brain damage when she collapsed at her home 13 years ago under unexplained circumstances at the age of 26.

***The bitter dispute over Terri's lack of care became a major euthanasia battle five years ago when her husband Michael Schiavo petitioned the court for permission to have her feeding tube removed, claiming she is in a persistent vegetative state and would not want to be kept alive "artificially." The Schindlers and a number of doctors and therapists believe she could be rehabilitated, but the courts have consistently sided with Schiavo and his lawyer, right-to-die advocate George Felos.

Florida Judge Rejects Governor's Bid to Help Terri Schiavo
By Jeff Johnson
CNSNews.com Congressional Bureau Chief
August 27, 2003

Capitol Hill (CNSNews.com) - Florida Circuit Judge George Greer Tuesday rejected a plea from Governor Jeb Bush to appoint a guardian ad litem to represent the best interests of Terri Schindler Schiavo, a 39-year-old disabled woman who suffered a brain injury in 1990 under questionable circumstances. Bush had intervened Monday after receiving 27,000 email messages asking for his help on Terri's behalf.

"I read [Gov. Bush's letter] because it came from the governor and I respect his position," Greer told the Tampa Tribune. "Beyond that, it is going in the file."

As CNSNews.com previously reported, Bush wrote Greer Monday asking him not to remove the disabled woman's feeding tube until a new guardian ad litem could "independently investigate" her condition. In the letter, Bush referenced the "fine balance between Mrs. Schiavo's right to privacy and her right to life," which Bush noted are co-equal under the Constitution.

"To err on one side is to prolong her existence, perhaps against her wishes and to continue the debate," Bush wrote. "To err on the other is an irrevocable act that affords no remediation."

But Greer told the Associated Press that he no longer has a choice in the matter.

"Frankly, I think I'm operating under a mandate from the 2nd District Court of Appeals," Greer said, "and frankly I don't think I can stray from that mandate."

In that same interview, however, the judge contradicted his own assessment of the limitation on his authority by stating that he was "not inclined" to appoint a guardian ad litem.

Michael Schiavo called Gov. Bush's intervention on behalf of Terri "crazy."

"The governor has deliberately twisted the facts in this case in an apparent effort to kowtow to his right-to-life political supporters," Schiavo told Tampa Tribune reporter David Sommer. "This has nothing to do with him. He should stay out of it."

Schiavo - who, for five years, has been seeking judicial approval to end his wife's life by denying her nutrition and hydration - also accused Terri's parents of manipulating their Catholic faith to keep their daughter alive.

"I believe in God and so did (?) Terri," Schiavo said, speaking of his still living wife in the past tense, "but they are out to push it on people... suddenly they are on a religious kick."

Judge refuses motion for hearing to set 'death date'

Greer also denied a motion Tuesday to hold an immediate hearing to set a date for the removal of Terri's nutrition and hydration tube. The hearing will be held, as previously announced, on Sept. 11. At that hearing, Greer will also rule on whether Schiavo may legally prohibit Terri's priest from visiting her.

Schiavo's attorney, George Felos, had also petitioned the court Monday to prohibit doctors from caring for Terri's current fever, labored breathing, vomiting, diarrhea and a "substantial infection."

"Given the imminence of the ward's death, further treatment (other than comfort care) for the ward's infection and other medical problems is unnecessary, unwarranted, inappropriate and futile," Felos said in an emergency motion, adding that Terri, "should be put back in hospice and receive comfort care and die in a peaceful setting."

Greer denied that motion, as well.

Michael Schiavo is using "privacy" as an excuse for denying Terri every contact from the outside world, even flowers. "One sign of the case's nastiness is the Schindlers' complaint that Schiavo limits their visits with their daughter. They also say he has refused to allow doctors to examine her, refused her antibiotics and needed dental work, refused to replace a broken wheelchair so she could be taken outdoors and refused the delivery of flowers from a friend to her room on her birthday."

"Her teeth are fine; she doesn't eat," Michael Schiavo said. "Why take her to a gynecologist? She was supposed to die months ago. I don't want her room filled with flowers from strangers or right-to-life activists. Even though she is vegetative she has a right to privacy."

I thought Gov Bush very eloquently made his case here, in this part:

To err on one side is to prolong her existence, perhaps against her wishes, and continue the debate. To err on the other is an irrevocable act that affords no remediation.

That is one thing that floors me .. This Judge should have long ago appointed an independent Guardian Ad Litem and not left her husband as her sole guardian .. especially since there are questions about her husband with abuse and the fractured bones that were reveled in xrays of Terry.

Everything I have read .. this Judge seems hell bent on having her killed

I know that Mr. Schiavo has tried to ban Terri's mother and family and priest from seeing her.

But, I don't know how a court could prevent doctors from ordering therapy, speach therapy (which is often actually swallowing therapy) and most especially oral nutrition.

Judge Greer has been with the husband since day one. A guardian ad litem would have been fair for Terri and her parents. Her parents love her but they are treated as the enemy. I'm ashamed this is happening in Pinellas County.

Judge Greer will not appoint a guardian ad litem. I have phone numbers from the phone book for the Clearwater Courthouse and all the guardianship phone numbers. He husband held a presser today and was very flippant about Jeb's letter and called the emailers a "bunch of right to lifers."

Hubby is looking a little nervous but with a pal like Judge Greer who is no Judge Moore, Terri has until the September 11 hearing to decide the date her starvation begins.

Here are the phone numbers: courthouse - 727-464-3000, guardianship numbers: 727-582-7563, 727-582-7771, and 727-464-8700. We can at least call as friends of Terri and voice our concerns.

Felos began representing Schiavo in 1998. He was still on the board at that time for sure. I remember reading that info on the link from how the money was spent. It lists all the different lawyers that represented Michael from the beginning.

I'm in - I did daytime fasts for a month following the 2000 presidential election. It's time for fasting and prayer, and I think that it makes a difference on how we listen to God. Instead of reaching for a handful of peanuts (yum) I'd reach for God.

We need a HUNGER STRIKE.

Starting the day Terri's tube gets pulled, until she is given relief or release. It would be dangerous, but there are ways to do it effectively, and it would get the media's attention. I've researched this option before when Terri was in trouble in January, but I don't have the funds to get to Florida this time. A hunger strike would need to be done out in public, in front of the Hospice where Terri is being held.

It would have to be a symbolic, real time starvation of a woman about Terri's age, so the world could see what happens to a woman of forty when she starves to death... I'm available, but I don't know how to get to without selling everything I've got. It would also get attention for the hunger striker/strikers to blog the whole thing on the web, describing in detail the hunger that accompanies such a horrible act...

Anyhow, it's a thought. What would liberals do???

Unfortunately nothing. They can only help Terri if she had been unlawfully occupying a tree...

I'm 43, problem is that I've been under the weather for the last several months. Not eating would work for me...(my grown up kids are being a pain in the ass about the the food intake)

The American Apology to Adolf Hitler

by Ironsides
(updated) August 25, 2003

My gut feeling throughout the trial to starve Terri Schiavo to death, is that Disabled People should stick to our priorities. Our priority should be to recognize that 9-11, the sniper, Saddam Hussein nor anybody else is as serious a crime against humanity, as the current wave of genocide underway against us as members of the Human Race!

The Glenn Beck talk show audio clip of a phone call between host Glenn Beck and Steve Schiavo, at the top of this page, only confirms that conditions are way past time to continue responding to genocide, with no more than talk. The above link presents some very clear points, which expose once again, that these warlords of the Right-to-Die terrorist organization aren't the least bit interested in relieving "terminally ill" people, with their consent. These worthless, barbaric, uncivillized savages are obscessed with killing, equal to every other kind of serial killer who has dominated the most mainstream news coverage! The Right-to-Die organization is literally, the Right-to-Genocide terrorist organization!

Two days ago was the very first time I was able to listen to a clip from the Glenn Beck Show, a clip which you can click on to hear for yourself: http://www.glennbeck.com/news/10142002.shtml. Glenn Beck talks with Steve Schiavo (Michael Schiavo's brother). In his own words, not once but twice, he confidentally tells the talk show host that it's OK to starve handicapped people to death, if the court says it's alright to do so. So, again I reiterate, that since the USA tolerates, defends and even promotes such ideas in its population, the United States government owes a formal, written apology to Adolf Hitler, his top medical executioners, and his top officers.

Glenn Beck spelled out how he awoke to the facts involved in Terri Schiavo's case.--He did his homework! It seems that the mainstream media either don't want to do their homework, for which they would undoubtedly arrive at the same conclusions as Mr. Beck, or they don't really care to be objective in their coverage. That's nothing new. Contrary to the responsibilities any genuine journalist is expected to live by, most reporters just want to grab any story which might get more attention, such as terrorism, and cash in on their sensationalist accounts. Situations like Terri-Schindler Schiavo, tend to be intimidating to alot of the media, because they want to publish what will become popular. The popularity of such cases depends on whether reporters will get more support for pushing the Right-to-Live angle--or the Right-to-Die angle of the case.

The best thing many reporters can do is review the history of Germany, prior to, and following the election of Hitler in 1933:

Euthenasia in the Third Reich: http://www.ethicsandmedicine.com/18/1/18-1-vermaat.htm by J A Emerson Vermaat
and
Hitler's Unwanted Children: http://www.holocaust-trc.org/unwanted.pdf by Sally M. Rogow.

What the world needs to understand, is that the recent push behind genetic engineering and bio-research, is a revival of what led to the Holocaust in 1939. People, wake up! Why do you allow these Right-to-Genocide militants to use their high priests of higher education, such as Peter Singer, to tell you who should be considered human, and have a right to live, who should die, and use their media propaganda officers to tell you that their so-called Right-to-Die terrorist network has no reltaionship to what happened in Germany and Poland until 1945?

Please go to the Terri's Fight website, study her situation and then do something about it. Judge Greer is soon to hand out his final verdict. I want to urge you, and the major news media networks to STOP the GENOCIDE today! Contact the government, the media, and organize mass demonstrations to stop the current wave of genocide which has slowly been picking up momentum, since Holland started executing 50% of the euthenasia cases against their consent every year, since 1984.

"As a result of Judge Greer's verdict and appeal court denials, in April
of 2001, Terri was deprived of food and water for several days. At the
last possible minute she was saved by the order of a different judge."

This is not just another little case of fighting the system to prevent euthenasia. This is a clear criminal murder we're looking at. This should be dealt with by criminal lawyers. How convenient for terrorist organizations to put their cocky little agents in courtrooms as judges, prosecutors, and court appointed expert witnesses--ha! If the USA, of any nation on Earth is going to allow this and a long list of similar executions, where people are not executed for murder, but for living with a disability, disabled activists and their supporters should demand that the US government make a formal apology to Adolf Hitler, his top medical team, and top German officers.

Rus Cooper-Dowda is a survivor of a similar horror story who deserves alot of credit and encouragement as one of today's Holocaust survivors. She can be reached at: uudre@aol.com. Below is an excerpt of what she said about an influential Rabbi, who helped to build support for Terri Schiavo:
'While, I spoke as a representative of Not Dead yet, the "draw" of the rally was Rabbi Levin. As a representative of over 1200 Orthodox Rabbis in the United States and Canada, what he said went right to the heart of the issue, as in:

"What happens here will have a profound effect on what happens to life and living in America."

"If death by electric chair is 'cruel and unusual punishment,' what is death by starvation? A party? A bar mitzvah?"

"How many hoops do you have to jump through in the United States to earn the right to be fed?"

"Terrorists will not get death by starvation, why Terri?"

After explaining the newly minted and used term of "minimal brain function" beyond coma and persistive vegetative state, he said:

"As a Jewish person I am particularly sensitive to what is going on here...Where are our leaders?"

He closed with, "If two people argue and living is at stake, then we have to err on the side of life for the good of us all."

and, "I want my co-religionists to understand this is the next great accomplishment -- to establish the right of the disabled to live."'

If a dedicated team of criminal lawyers examine all the details of the Terri Schiavo case among others, guys like Judge Greer, the Schiavo family and Michael Schiavo's lawyers will get chewed-up and spit out in the trash with Terri's husband. Realizing the below information only fuels my concern for soon coming militant means to put these Holocaust warlords into a hole they won't escape from:

"Please understand, Terri is in relatively good health.
*** She not in a coma and in no imminent danger of
death.
*** Terri is not on a ventilator nor is she dependent
on any life support
machinery...Although Terri suffers from brain damage, she responds to her family and
friends. She is cognizant, acutely aware of her surroundings and she
reacts positively to stimulation. She frequently attempts to speak.
Terri is not brain dead nor is she in a persistent vegetative state, as
she was falsely represented to the court at her trial. Several medical
doctors have given sworn testimony that Terri has the potential for
significant improvement, however her husband, Michael Schiavo, will not
allow Terri any rehabilitation therapies."

One difference in the two cases I compare between Tracy Latimer and Terri Schiavo, which are similar, is that Terri Schiavo is being "legally murdered", and executed for the crime of becoming disabled from a likely botched murder, and using today's technology to digest food more easily.

This sure as hell is an example of "the American Dream"--isn't it? People who wake up from accidents or medical problems with disabilities of any kind, can only wake up to "the American Nightmare"! The American Dream only tends to exist for Americans until the day they receive some kind of disability. The Schiavo family then feel that, as long as the court says it is alright to do so, Americans can starve "handicapped people" to death!--Welcome to The American Way! Now, exactly how many Disabled People are going to sing "God Bless America"?

Another troubling issue is how judges and lawyers are allowed to bar testimony, evidence and witnesses who are the crucial means to prove the innocence of someone scheduled for execution. This is in the nation which boasts that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Probably 15-20% of the American prison population would walk free tonight, if it were true.

In Terri Schiavo's situation, much falsified information has been presented to the public, to boost support for a speedy execution. What exactly is she guilty of? Glenn Beck, in one Audio Recap from October 20, explains emotionally, how poor Terri was a victim of Bolemia. With a self-serving and verbally sarcastic husband, she suffered his ridicule over eating and fear of becoming fat. The day came she supposedly suffered a heart-attack, trying to please Michael, her husband. So, the two things Terri was guilty of were:

1. Becoming permanently disabled while trying to please Michael.
2. Using modern biotechnology for what it was designed to do, make it easier to eat and digest food.

Her blood thirsty executioners don't want the world to learn what you can read below:

"Several medical
doctors have given sworn testimony that Terri has the potential for
significant improvement, however her husband, Michael Schiavo, will not
allow Terri any rehabilitation therapies. Currently, her husband is
engaged, has lived with his fiancé for over 5 years and openly
professes he will marry his fiancé when his wife, Terri dies. He will
also will inherit the balance of Terri's 1.5 million dollar medical
malpractice award upon her death."

A few things are coming to mind about this:

First of all, since his only intent is to murder her and inherit a fortune, laws need to be changed concerning inheritances. It's obvious that this and many other cases are not "compassionate homocide"--except for the benefit of the killers! In a case where a wife or husband is murdered, directly or indirectly by their partner, the partner should not inherit anything.

Another thing which comes to mind, is that when a so-called mercy killing is against the consent of the victim, and their relatives (parents, brothers or sisters, or adult children) oppose such a measure being pursued by the husband or wife, the partner should lose their power-of-attorney. The power-of-attorney should be granted to those relatives seeking to preserve the life and care of the victim. This case should result in all kinds of laws being struck down, amended or re-written.

Are you sure that Pearse was the GAL? I thought he was the court-appointed atty that Felos argued should be off the case because he didn't agree with him. Specifically, it was that Pearse felt a GAL should be appointed, because Michael had a confict of interest (ie. inherits the money after she dies + he was already living with the other woman who was pregnant with their 1st at the time). I'm not sure where I got this from but it was for sure from one of the links provided on this or the other forum (in other words, I'm computer-challeged so a link is about as good as my "research" capabilities go).

Functions of the Office of the Solicitor General

The major function of the Solicitor General's Office is to supervise and conduct government litigation in the United States Supreme Court. Virtually all such litigation is channeled through the Office of the Solicitor General and is actively conducted by the Office. The United States is involved in about two-thirds of all the cases the U.S. Supreme Court decides on the merits each year.
The Solicitor General determines the cases in which Supreme Court review will be sought by the government and the positions the government will take before the Court. The Office's staff attorneys participate in preparing the petitions, briefs, and other papers filed by the government in its Supreme Court litigation. The Solicitor General personally assigns the oral argument of government cases in the Supreme Court. Those cases not argued by the Solicitor General personally are assigned either to an attorney in the Office or to another government attorney. The vast majority of government cases are argued by the Solicitor General or by one of the Office's other attorneys.

Another function of the Office is to review all cases decided adversely to the government in the lower courts to determine whether they should be appealed and, if so, what position should be taken. The Solicitor General also determines whether the government will participate as an amicus curiae, or intervene, in cases in any appellate court.

If SEVERAL local activists could do it, that would be even better - and the money could be donated to Terri's legal fund. But if no one will volunteer, then I will go.

Lol, Scientology is the new kid on the block; Freemasons have been spreading their poison for hundreds of years. The Hemlock society has been around forever.

Here is a news article on todays events:

These judges in Fl. are all in lock step with M. Schiavo. This is a mockery of our justice system. The news media is also in lock step. The dice is loaded.

I would be willing...but I would get little sympathy. I am 34 so the age is close. But...well...I'm not overweight -- I'm just very undertall! (at 5'2")
