I support McClintock staying in the hunt until after the September 17th debate. Salesmen who don't make pitches don't make sales. That's been a major shortcoming of the California state Republican Party leadership. They don't explain to the voters what conservatism is, and why it's better.
McClintock serves a useful purpose spreading that message, especially if he can push his numbers up and get elected. If he doesn't push those numbers up, at least Californians will hear a message they seldom hear in this state, even if we do have to go elsewhere to win this.

I agree 100%. Plus, I think McClintock staying in keeps the pro-recall fires stoked and keeps encouraging Schwarzenegger to take conservatives seriously.

If there if the debate is the 17th, then I think instead of the 15th, this has to be looked at again on the 19th and then get behind one candidate.
