What is a good link for McClintock's positions? If he is the most encouraging on stopping illegal immigration, I'm there.

A vote for McClintock is a vote for Bustamante. If you want to save California from the Democratic plague, vote Arnold.

McClintock has solid conservative credentials and would make a fine governor for California. If conservative Republicans can unite behind McClintock and the moderates see Arnold Schwarzenegger for what he is, an empty suit, theres a slim chance that either liberal in the race, Cruz or Arnold, will not win the recall elction.

It's not over yet!

Wait a week or two until the polling shakes out. After Labor Day, Tommy McC will make the debates.

Arnold will falter.

Tommy McC's numbers will rise.

Is there any way we can just give California to Mexico or France? We don't need to be in the fruits and nuts business anyways.

Why does McClintock want to ruin his political career by running for Governor now? The worst thing that could happen to him is if he wins.

As much as I'd like to see the term "Gov. McClintock" in common usage, conservatives are likely to be faced with the choice of Aaaahnold or Bustamante; not McClintock. One can say what one will about voting on "principle", but the fact of the matter is that splitting the State's scant GOP electorate will get Bustamante elected. Bustamante may be the only person in the State who's less qualified to be governor than Gray-out Davis. Are we willing to see him in office so that we can chase a quixotic dream of electing a true-blue conservative in a decidedly non-conservative State?

McClintock now has a clear field - conservatives have one horse to ride!

...off a cliff.

I'm still voting for Arnie. McClintock should be a man and resign from the race too but he will be the imbecile that he is and help elect Cruz.

*Compared* to the extreme leftist Davis, McClintok or Schwarzenegger would qualify to be members of the vast right wing conspiracy.

Either one would be *HUNDREDS* of times better for the great state of California, than the little communist Davis.

I would settle for either one! Would I like McClintok better? Yes. But again, if forced, settling for Schwarzenegger is many times better than Davis.

Between Schwarzenegger and Davis, is like comparing Bush to Barney Frank. There is no comparison.

You could look at it that way or you could look at it as McClintock will be next.

Arnold is the Globalist Establishment's hand-picked insurance against a conservative victory. I prefer McClintock, but he won't win. It's too late for voting in California. I plan to stay home in future California elections and will leave the state as soon as I can afford to move.

With Simon out, there's only one conservative in the race (who can win; ed.)

Yes. The Schwarzenegger inaugural should be star-studded and impressive.

Yep it's his to win or lose..... Can't blame anyone else but his drawing power and ability to persuade the electorate to select him over the other 134 choices.

He has 44 days to raise his electablity to some level that will win. Can he do it? Who knows but he needs to increase his percentages by 1/2% or better per day over the next 44 Days to even have a chance.... If not the needs to step aside and endorse the leading republican that can beat the democrat.

Arnold has the heavy MOJO at this time. If he faulters then he needs to step aside and endorse the leading Republican. So can McClintock tap into it?
