I am confused. The article says that the janitor and the pastor think this was an attack in retaliation for the sermon, but the thrust of the article seems to be that the sermon incited the violence because it was anti-gay. However, if the attackers are antigay, and the sermon was antigay, then how come they said "this is a msg" for the pastor? If appears as if the pastor was too easy on homos for the attackers? This story does not compute. I do, however, get the drift of the left wing liars who will make this the latest craze since church burnings, so that they can brow beat and hector well meaning people to accept their agenda.

A very Orwellian comment. If expression of moral opposition to homosexuality is equated with "preaching violence," then the law will be used to punish those who oppose homosexuality. I'm not sure this incident passes the smell test. Although gay militants have engaged in disruptive acts and acts of vandalism against church property, I'm not aware they have crossed the line into acts of physical violence against persons. Gays are normally well aware of how things will play in the press, and beating up a janitor will not play well. So I'm not quite ready to believe this incident happened as described.
