"If they don't preach tolerance, they are preaching violence," Harris said.
A very Orwellian comment. If expression of moral opposition to homosexuality is equated with "preaching violence," then the law will be used to punish those who oppose homosexuality. Then what becomes of tolerance for those who oppose homosexuality? It vanishes. Thus in the name of tolerance, tolerance is eliminated.

To complete my thought, if expressing moral disapproval of homosexuality is equated with preaching violence, then are not ALL expressions of moral disapproval - no matter what the issue - tantamount to encouraging violence? What then becomes of free speech?

Then what becomes of tolerance for those who oppose homosexuality? It vanishes. Thus in the name of tolerance, tolerance is eliminated. Eventually the leftist/homosexual movement will attempt to silence those who are "intolerant" by using government force. It has already begun in Canada. It will come here.
