Not even a flicker here in the Boston area. Just got home about 20 minutes ago. Normal commute, light traffic. It was a warm day but we've had hotter. I sometimes work in NYC so I know what those poor folks are dealing with. One never realizes how many people are actually in NYC on a normal workday until the buildings and subways empty out. Those liveshots are amazing. It's like somebody stirred a giant anthill.

WH and Crawford have been made aware. no new reports.
Fresh power surge at 1720 EDT felt in NE US region. Civil authorities are asking people not to panic.
