Well I will tell you all what I know to date...
Layla went thru the surgery pretty well and it is now 1 week post op. She has a new problem and that is a collapsed lung. The vent is what’s hurting her as I understand it, but she’s not strong enough to be without it. On the positive side, she is getting a little Mommy’s milk 4 times a day (tiny bits for a tiny baby) and the last I heard she now weighs 1 lb. 7 oz. Her mommy is having terrible stomach or adominal pains and they are attributing it to “stress”. So please, please please....... pray for this little family. This baby girl is fighting so hard and her young mommy and daddy are doing everything they can to see that she stays safe and thrives.

I know that you all know the stress that Sam and all the family are going through now. No wonder she is showing the strain. It must be almost impossible to relax. There is stress enough being a new mommy under “normal” circumstances.
God is always in control in every situation, of course. So we trust in Him and pray. May He strengthen, comfort, and guide them through this difficult time toward complete good health and well-being for Layla and their little family.
They are always in my prayers.
