If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers

"One - two - three - (faster!) - four- - " We've already had an agreement about this:
I'M THE DI!!
He's the boot!

"Have Uncle TC show you how he can do the 96 count manual of arms with his M-1" Since we've proved that M-1s are prone to disintegrate suddenly, Logan has opted to do his manual of arms with a .50 caliber Barrett.

Continued prayers for further healing and bright times ahead! We all thank you, and every one of the Freepers and their extended prayer warriors for those prayers. Without them, I firmly believe we wouldn't have seen the incredible progress we've seen. Logan IS our miracle...he's the little guy we look at when OUR lives seem icky at the moment, and we know that yes, God DOES answer prayer!

Wellll...........about one o'clock this morning our Little Termite presented his mommy with a present which necessitated a bath for him, his bed and all the instrument probes!
I mean this boy does everything BIG !!
Well, heck, he's typical Texan!!
A little piece of completly USELESS INFORMATION I pass on.
Incredibly astounding fact # 629,863,992...
Aztec emperor Montezuma had a nephew, Cuitlahac, whose name meant "plenty of excrement."

I start into withdrawals, and there's nothing worse than giving up Logan cold turkey! I know...can't kick the habit. What are we going to do when he starts high school?

"What are we going to do when he starts high school?" Well, since I never got to graduate from High School, I'll go back and try it again!

"Ah, the joys of motherhood!" I'm not a mommy, but I distinctly remember wandering at two o'clock in the morning how on earth that much could get inside a baby in the first place!

nite nite lil one
I am so pleased to hear that you keep getting healtier.
I'm sure your mommy, daddy and Nana are pleased.
AND everyone who reads this thread.
You see Logan, you STILL have a positive impact on all of us.
Someday you will understand why.
For now just keep getting bigger and stronger.
Smile and laugh a lot!
Time for my nightly prayers for you, your family and
All who need God's Special Care.
And all our men and women in the military.
God loves you and so do we.

M0SBY!!!!!!!! I'M ASHAMED OF YOU!!
"GOOFY"????!!
AND ONLY THREE DAYS BEFORE THE MARINE CORPS BIRTHDAY!!!
I know TC....Shame on me!!! 30 lashes with a wet bootband!
We had to go over ALL of the Marine Corp's names before we finally settled on Matthew and Andrew!
Boring, but rather nicer than some of the alternatives...Chesty,Archibald...etc...
Notice though, that my screen-name is some guy from the Civil War...NOT my idea..but I can be flexible when we are not talking about the name of my child!
TT,
BIG POOPS!!!! HOORAY~
Dan got a birthday card on Thurs from little baby Andrew that said,
"FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY,
MAY YOU HAVE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING;
A little Playtime!
A Good Poop and
A BIG NAP!!!
See Logan, it doesn't much change as you get bigger!
So, glad to read that your eyes are okey dokey! We are still praying... and like Uncle Tonk says, it is still so uplifting to read about your progress through the days!!!
WE LOVE YOU LOGAN!!!

If constipation is his biggest hurdle now a days I would say the boy is doing fantastic.
That apple juice can work both ways.
I thought about that when it was reported that Logan slurped it down.
Also if tape burns are still a problem we use Saf-Gel for all skin problems. It is available from home health (not in stores) and is spendy but a littl goes along way. If King Vanities stoma sites get a little irratated or a tape burn a dab of this stuff (looks like KY Jelly) and withen a day it is healed over.
Praise God his eye exam was all good.
Logan I love that red/blonde hair you have. You go and keep thriving. Your home buddy.
For all Logan's careproviders remember to pace yourselves it is easy to give up ones needs to care for your baby.
