If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

It is no secret what God can do.
What He's done for others, He'll do for you.
With arms wide open, He'll pardon you.
It is no secret what God can do.
The chimes of time ring out the news,
Another day is through.
Someone slipped and fell.
Was that someone you?
You may have longed for added strength,
Your courage to renew.
Do not be disheartened,
For I have news for you.
It is no secret what God can do.
What He's done for others, He'll do for you.
With arms wide open, He'll pardon you.
It is no secret what God can do.
There is no night for in His light
You never walk alone.
Always feel at home,
Wherever you may go.
There is no power can conquer you
While God is on your side.
Take Him at His promise,
Don't run away and hide.
For it's no secret what God can do.
What He's done for others, He'll do for you.
With arms wide open, He'll pardon you.
It is no secret what God can do.
For it's no secret what God can do.

O Lord, we thank You for creation; we thank You for life; we thank You for being our God and letting us be Your people.
As we are reeling with news of ugly and dark words and deeds by some, we come here and see a miracle. We see the evidence of what a great and loving God You are. We are awed by Your power and Your glory.
Lord, as we see this tiny babe with such a will to live; as we see his parents and Nana and dear friends and family who love him so very much and have such faith; as we hear of the devoted care of the medical staff; as we watch this ever-growing community touched so deeply by Logan, we have no doubt that You are acting in our lives and in the world. We realize that this miracle is being witnessed by hundreds ... perhaps thousands ... of people around the globe who know that it is no secret what You can do.
We thank You for the opportunity to have a window into the life of this little Termite and we thank You for all the blessings that have come to us through his life and Your grace. As Logan's life has begun as a witness to Your greatness and Your glory, let him continue to be an ambassador for You through all his years. Let him always feel Your presence with him as strongly as we now feel Your presence with us, fostering true fellowship and a love that binds us together. Amen.

I have no doubt that Logan will make it. I had a second cousin born about 2 and 1/2 months premature that I had not seen for some years until a recent family gathering. He is entering the 9th grade and is a pitcher in little league and will make his Freshman team! That was about 13 or 14 years ago when they knew so much less about this kind of thing. Logan will be fine. I will say a prayer just to be sure.

Father, we beseech thee to lend your strength to Logan, an infant with the promise of being a man of God.
Grant him life, and health, and wisdom, that he may in time, with Your Grace, offer hope and love to mankind, in Your Name.
With each life that comes into this world comes the potential to better humanity.
Let that potential be realized in Logan.
We ask these things in Jesus' name,
Amen.

Actually- Sorry- I did post on this thread sometime ago. But I forgot. I just actually looked at that page with the music and the photo captions. What a great progression. Amazing isn't it? What a great looking kid! I will say a prayer of thanks instead.

Very emotional progression of images and the music seemed well timed as one scrolls down- from almost sad to soul and spirit uplifting. Extremely well done!
