If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!
My first reaction too, but then I remembered he's only 2 1/2. He might have enough inflammation and swelling to cause a "ringing" in his ears, which often accompanies ear infections, and even just allergies. There is no real sound in the vast majority of cases, just a perception of sound.
Then again his ears might just hurt or itch very badly, and since it's a discomfort associated with his ears, he reports it as "noise". Kids often put things in strange ways.
Thank you all, SO much.

God Bless this beautiful baby and family!! Remember the Blood Covenant. Where there is sickness and suffering, let there be health and healing. Amen
continued prayers.
I ASSUMED that by the way TC and Logan were spoken about, that they were related..
They are....by love.
Just one mans opinion
God Bless Logan, and bring him itching relief and healing rest. Prayers continuing.
Thanks for the update, BG!
Good enough!!
Oh, that poor little angel! I'm praying for him right now and I'll put him on the prayer list for Evening Prayer tonight.
That would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!
Check back tonight, I *should* be getting more pics from Nana..
Haven't been posting, but we're praying at our house.
Posting to send lots of love to Logan! Hang tough, little man, your "warriors" love you!
Well, he's done it again! Thank God :) He's 90% better today!!
I need to go back and start from the beginning on this so that everyone understands what happened. It's bound to help others...... or I hope it will.
For 2 weeks, Logan had been running a fever and his tonsils actually smelled bad when he opened his mouth. On the 24th of Feb, the ped. prescribed Augmentin for this. He was taking 1 tsp. twice a day. On Mon, the 27th of Feb., we noticed a little "bite" on the back of his neck. It almost looked like a bug bite of some kind with redness around it and fever in that area. Beth put some medicine on it and we weren't concerned at all. By Wed, he had little red "bumps" on his face, and few on his chest and back. Everyone (including the doctor's office) said that it probably was chickenpox since they were running wild down here right now. Bear in mind, Logan had the CP vaccination on his 2nd birthday last year. Thursday morning, the 2nd of March, he was covered in these little bumps. I told his Mom that they didn't look like CP to me and that I thought it was a drug reaction. Nope! Consensus had him having Chicken Pox. By Friday noon, the whelps, the itching, and a completely different look was evident. Then through the night, I got the call that he was being taken to ER. The diagnosis, Erythema Multiforme.
We have been told that he IS allergic to any and all penicillin drugs..... and that EM can reoccur for no apparent reason. God I hope not!
As of today, he still has it on his legs, arms, ears, stomach and a little bit on his back. Everywhere that he has it is 90% better than it was. The doctor is amazed at his progress. I had to smile...... that doctor doesn't know the band of prayer warriors that have seen this little one through some really tough times and continue to be there for him. And then of course, our special guardian angel who is protecting his "litl' punkin".
I took a couple of pictures of him sitting on his little 4-wheeler in the living room. He wasn't ready to ride yet, but at least he felt like sitting there. You can barely see the EM in the pictures. But you can see those sparkling eyes and that "Logan grin".........
Our entire family is once more forever grateful for all who care, who pray and who continue to love Logan as one of their own. He's a neat little guy...... one you would all love to be around. He's smart, fun and has just enough "boy" in him to keep it interesting every step of the way.
Our prayer of thanks for such wonderful Friends........ God bless you one and all......

Oh this is wonderful news!
Woo hoo!! He's looking good! Ninety percent better!! Prayers continuing.
Ahhh, look at that smile and those sparkling eyes. Thanks to God for taking care of Logan and bringing him back to health once again. He's a tough little guy for sure and yes, Logan has a special Guardian Angel looking out for him. What great news. Was so sad when I read about him putting his hands over his ears because of the "noise" and tonight we get great news. Please be sure and let Logan's mommy and daddy know how happy we are. Thank you for the update. God bless everyone involved in the life of this little guy.
WOW! That is great news!! What a beautiful little guy.
