Dick Morris will be on O'Reilly's TV show tonight expanding on his prediction that "Arnold will fade like a pretty girl at the door." Morris thinks many more Dems will enter the race. He aslo says that political amatuers have no business running for office.

Now I know that Morris is working for Hillary. Explain the logic to me please. How do more Democrats in the race hurt Arnold? The way I see it, that will only help Arnold as it will split the opposition vote. I didn't realize it till now, but Morris is still rooting for the bad guys, ala Hitler's Daughter!

I've already seen the his daddy was a Nazi on the usual suspected forums. Of course most have stated one shouldn't pay for the sins of the father so at least they aren't too hypocritical on that point(same thing was said when Gore's father's stands against civil rights were brought up).

BTW, I thought Clinton should be impeached and convicted. His sex life was enough our business in various litigations that he had an obligation not to perjure himself.

Agreed....but that's not what folks on the other side of the aisle were stating. Now conservatives who are upset with Arnold's peccadillos have a right ot be and they can vote their conscience.

I believe that Arnold will have the Jesse Ventura effect going for him. What's that? An unusually high turnout by younger voters who are otherwise apathetic about voting, . It was the unusually high turnout by folks that normally don't vote that put Ventura in the Governor's Mansion - the same may hold true for Arnold - for better or worse.

Why don't they go ask that moron reporter turned Davis butt-boy appointee Phil Troustine who coined the term about Davis "the best trained governor-in-waiting in California history" what he thinks about all that experience that Davis brought with him into office. McClintock has been fighting out of control state spending since the 80's. You ought to care that you haven't heard of the only guy to have a plan to balance the state budget by cutting state spending by 9.5% over 18 months. I agree with you -- he doesn't have any more right to run than anybody else. And he can't win. And because he can't get traction and win, it serves as an example that to get ahead in politics you are better off being a loudmouth movie star and/or rich than working your way up as a hard working, responsible local elected official. If you limit and punish people who take politics seriously, you won't have very many of them.

So conservative Reps will go for McClintock, that still leaves 99% of the general populace. Arnie demographic isn't political, it's name recognition, he's got more than anybody else. The more political people you get in the race stealing savvy votes from each other the easier it will be for the guy with the killer smile to win.
