Dick Morris will be on O'Reilly's TV show tonight expanding on his prediction that "Arnold will fade like a pretty girl at the door." Morris thinks many more Dems will enter the race. He aslo says that political amatuers have no business running for office.

I think Dickie thinks you should start on the town board and not governor of such a large state. I guess he would have pooh-poohed Reagan too.

Reagan though at least had some real leadership experience as the elected head of a very large union under his belt. I like Arnold, but let's be honest, his only real political experience is that he married into the Kennedy family and he was a minor appointee in the original Bush administration. I don't believe he has the fortitude required to administer the strong medicine needed to save California from itself. Maybe he'll prove me wrong though. He certainly can't be any worse than the pathetic loser they've got now.

I have absolutely no idea. I figure that California is toast no matter who wins this election, so this is mostly entertainment value for me. The most qualified candidates I've seen are the two porn stars who have entered the race - they definitely have the basic underlying philosophy of politics down pat.

I agree with this statement, but as someone whose political aspirations are somewhat limited he can also tell people (voters as well as special interest groups) to take a hike without worrying about offending them.
