He could not do anything about abortion even if he wanted to because it has been decided by the supreme court and is not a state issue and the same constitution has a Second Amendment that also takes that issue out of a governors hands.

You are naive if you think that his positions on two of the most critical issues of our day are not a reflection of a real philosophical problem with this man, and that they won't impact the national course of those debates.

Or you have fallen into the celebrity cult of personality win-at-any-cost trap.

I know your activities around here enough to believe it is the former.

That's akin to saying a drunk who insists on driving is safe because he only had access to whiskey--not beer or wine.
