"...[T]he national Democrat party seems to have lost its marbles. ...Just look at their presidential candidates: it's like they're lost in a time warp. ...And Dennis Kucinich -- a long-time member of Congress -- now calls for legislation -- I love this -- to ban 'mind control' weapons in outer space. ...It makes you wonder if at their next presidential debate, the Democrats are all going to show up wearing aluminum-foil helmets to protect their brain waves from the mother ship!" --House Majority Leader Tom DeLay

'mind control' weapons?
Do scientist know enough about a human brian to make one?
Sounds to me like someone needs to stop reading science fiction books before he goes to bed.

I used to field calls aimed at the Director of the Strategic Defense Initiatve back in the 80's. It was affectionately known as Star Wars to the libs.
I remember one call I had about the USSR embassy beaming treasonous thoughts into this guys head. I told him that we were building a missile defense system which was unrelated to his concerns. He asked me where he should report this atrocity. I recommended that he contact Oscar Goldman at OSI. I told him that if Oscar wasn't around that he might try Steve Austin. He seemed to be a satisfied customer.

'mind control' weapons? Do scientist know enough about a human brian to make one? Mind control weapons have been around a long time. It is called power. As the old Sarge said, "Get 'em by the balls and their minds will follow."

Well that would work on males real well but what about the females? We don't have balls.
:-)

Steve Austin was the name of the Six Million Dollar Man.

Well that would work on males real well but what about the females? We don't have balls. :-) If man has not learned by now that controlling a woman's mind is a futile goal, then he may just try to build one of those contraptions. If so, more wasted money on a lost cause.

giggles
If they are going to waste the money why don't they build something that zaps P.M.S. instead of 'mind control'
Wouldn't the males be so much happier?
