I posted this on another thread - but since there are so many great prayers on this thread - I hoped you all wouldn't mind if I posted it again. I've been so upset about our soldiers in Iraq that I just wanted to get a bunch of us together in agreement over the scripture. Of course, we can also use this one for our President and his family. Here goes:
Isaiah 54:17 - NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST OUR SOLDIERS CAN PROSPER!!
Thank you Father God that you protect our soldiers at all times and no weapon formed against them can prosper. Thank you Father God that because we know that you hear us, we know we have the petitions we have asked for. And Thank you Father God that your Word never returns void but it ALWAYS accomplishes that which you sent it to do. In Jesus name, AMEN!!
Okay everybody - just print out this prayer and say it every day - or as often as you can

[Don't worry about future polls -- REAL people LOVE this president ! Note: Pollsters ALWAYS underweight conservatives in general and conservatives in 'flyover states' in particular!]
The article at the following link has some great quotes and pixes --
http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2003/07/05/loc_bush05.html ====
Thanks for the link to a very positive news article. Nice to know that a paper can report a Presidential visit without the negativity which invades so many newsrooms these days.
I just learned about this 'underweighting' of polls last week, possibly Dick Morris mentioned it in an interview. Why have all the GOP spokesmen not let the world know about this? For years, news shows have used poll numbers as news items. Isn't it about time we are informed about the 'reality' of these numbers?
If I ever have a conversation with a dem about poll numbers, I think I will just say, "Oh, yes, 'underweighting' has to be factored in by polling companies in order to reflect all the votes of non-legal voters that will 'happen' on Election Day."

I tried my best to represent us Dosers with energy and enthusiasm!!! -- I know at least one other DOSER was there probably doing the exact same thing!! I was right there in the crowd cheering the President, he seemed all fired up. My section also started a "4 more years" chant. I had a pretty good view of the President. I agree with Deb, the sight of Air Force One was just awesome. It was a hot day and a long day but well worth it!

Wow, Pres. Bush sure does sweat a lot. That's cause when HE plays golf, he REALLY plays, unlike the most previous former occupant of the WH who went out there to ride around in golf carts trying to look cool thinking it would impress folks.

Thanks for that link to the story of the President's Wright-Pat visit. I am so glad -- and envious -- that you got to see him.

I, personally, go for the "lived in" look. I tell visitors, if they stick to the path, they SHOULD be OK.

Had to turn it, thankfully didn't see Levin. He said the almost identical thing about Sen. Thurman that Sen. Lott did. He is a weasal.

Did you or anyone see Carlo D'este on C-Span for 3 hours?
Can't wait to read his bios on Patton and Eisenhower. Steven Ambrose in his last book said Eisenhower was the man of the 20th century. I'm catching up on F.R.

Sounds great. It does take a lot of work, but you sound young enough to do it!! My favorite childhood story was "Girl of the Limberlost". It looks like your area is much the same.
