Ann Coulter Just Brought Down the House With More Hillary Comments on Barbara Walters 'The View'
ABC News ^

The panel of gals was discussing the hot topics/issue of the day regarding the goverment funded study on womens sexuality with Ann Coulter as the co-host.
Ann was arguing that the study was bogus and was asked by the panel (thinking they were backing Conservative Coulter into a corner) if she had ever seen two women 'getting it on.'
Ann took a deep breath, thought about the question and then said 'Yes, the Hillary [VRWC] interview wth Katie Couric. '
The audience was stopping the show they were laughing so hard, even the liberal hosts were smiling.

Wait a minute. The VRWC is in brackets which infers that Ann didn't actually say it and maybe the poster incorrectly attributed it to that Lauer interview.
I'm sure Hitlery has done an interview with The Perky One.

Clinton: Right.
Couric:
he announced he was appointing you to head the task force on national health care reform. Looking back on that, do you wonder, What planet were we on?
Clinton: There was so much going on and
so he asked me if I would do this. And I said yes because Ive always believed that we should figure out a way to provide quality, affordable health care to every American. And, of course, it became a target. And it became a big controversy. And I also, again think we tried to do too much, too fast.
Couric: You write in the book that you quote, Knew I had contributed to our failure both because of my own missteps and because I underestimated the resistance I would meet as the First Lady with a policy mission. In retrospect, was it truly appropriate to put someone who had never been elected, who never had been confirmed by the Senate as cabinet offices are, in charge as something as big as reforming health care in this country? Can you see why that would make people feel uncomfortable?
Clinton: Oh, absolutely. Now, you know, of course, everybody in the White House serves at the pleasure of the President. They are confirmed. Theyre there to serve him. And
Couric: Still
Clinton:
thats I know and but thats how I saw it. I saw it as, Well, you know, I want to help my husband. I want to make a contribution to my country. But I think it was a mistake. And it certainly wasnt done again in the administration. I kept working on issues that Id cared about for 30 years, whether it was adoption and foster care or childrens health but never in any kind of official position. Because you know, it really did divert from the mission that he had undertaken, and that I and others were trying to help him achieve.

In the "My brush with fame" department, I chatted with Matt Lauer the day after the Hillary VRWC interview at the funeral of Katie Couric's husband. He was quite proud of it. Said he prepares for hours for interviews like that. He had a lot more hair then. ;)

They really did try to gang up on her, didn't they. She was unflappable, though. Once the other hosts saw that, they pretty much ignored Ann through the rest of the show, though Ann is assertive enough to have stepped right in and joined the conversation anyway.

Everyone in the audience got a free copy of "Treason"! Way to get the message out, Ann!
Vierra had a disgusted look on her face when she annouced that they were giving out free copies of Ann's book.

Star Jones was surprisingly calm, I thought she was going to have a freakout moment like Rosie O' Dougnuts vs. Tom Selleck.

She saw them setting up the post-show buffett and was just staring at the red light on the camera, praying for it to turn off.
