A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day

Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.

A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.

A change of pace today; a filler of sorts.... an email received some time ago from a friend: various quotes about love and friendship. Please feel free to add your own treasured gems.

Thank you, martin_fierro, for making this special montage for me to use today. I can't think of a better way to illustrate "Best Friends" than with FReepers' own photos, and the graphic you chose is perfect!

Of Love and Friendship....

1) Click on the graphic to open the Calendar.
2) Once there you can click on any month and even click to the right to go into next year. Once you are in the month that you joined FR you will need to click on the number in the calendar and then an add item screen will come up.
3) In the next box enter your name in the "Calendar Text" field and then click on submit.
4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it.
5) If all else fails or simply if you want me to do this for you send me a FReepmail and I will gladly do it for you. ~Mixer

The VA performed a grave error. Being deeply immersed in Health Care, I had to train all of our corporate employees on HIPAA Federal privacy rules that took effect April 14. We must *never* disclose the identity of patients to a third, disinterested party.

Mr. Bransom has a strong case if he wishes to pursue this breach of privacy.

The other unfortunate thing is that the indoor range we frequented at least twice a month closed down - the victim of a car dealership expansion. We are in the process of trying to find an acceptable outdoor range that we can access in under an hour.

I especially appreciate these old places you select that "tell a story," imagining how it looked the day the builder proudly finished the structure....how he and his wife felt, creating a dwelling, next to a shade tree to mollify the effects of the sun....how they and the two dogs and children looked, and the dreams they had....
