June 6, 2003 -- ALBANY - New Yorkers to Hillary Rodham Clinton: Don't you dare run for president - and watch out for Rudy Giuliani when it comes to re-election!
Those were the two powerful messages state voters delivered to former First Lady and current Sen. Clinton, according to a Marist College poll released yesterday.

Well, since Hillary will be out of her senate job, she may as well run for president.

Please run Rudy, you can stop this menace from running for prez.
I wouldn't be suprised if he jumped in that she would retire to "devote myself fully to taking back the White House for the American people".
That biatch will do whatever it takes.

I cannot believe that New Yorkers were so stupid that they voted for this congenital liar to represent them in the Senate...but then they read the New York Times every day as their "newspaper of record", ha! And then these losers have the gall to look down on the rest of us. There is nothing as ridiculous as inferior people with a superiority complex...

Hey, kitty, please separate NYers from NY City voters. We're not ALL crazy up here.

Polls like this annoy me because they are meaningless in that they are a snapshot in time without a campaign in progress. Hillary's not up for reelection for 2 1/2 years and literally anything can happen in the meantime. Just the other day there was an article here that said the GOP was writing off making a serious run at Schumer ad probably Hillary too in '06 for lack of a strong candidate.
A more appropriate poll at this point in time is a poll of approval ratings.
Creating news like this for the sake of writing a story is annoying.

Nearly two-thirds of voters said they accept Clinton's pledge to serve her full six-year term and not seek the presidency in 2004.Could ANY group of people be this naive?
