If only Hillary! had done the same thing when news came out about her $1,000 into $100,000 overnight miracle. (Resigned as "co-president" of course.)

Smoking Gun has the full indictment - I was just reading and it's filled with all kinds of things she & broker did to try and hide what they'd done, lie about it and try to obstruct the investigation. Things like changing e-mails to remove the message that ImClone was going down and telling the feds tales about phone conversations that never happened. With Clintonian ethics she really stepped in it big-time.

This doesn't sound like a strong position to be fighting charges from. I think her goose is pretty much cooked. Dumb, greedy woman.

she won't remain on BOD for long - that's something that SEC outlawed last year and is a civil action, by law, not a criminal action, so when the SEC says "goodbye" it's over.

That pic is a very nice piece of work!

Heck, she brought it all on herself.
I think her proclamation yesterday that she would NOT resign makes it all the sweeter.

They better keep a close tab on Martha! She might bolt into the woods of North Carolina and live off the land like Eric Robert Rudolph (the alleged Olympic bomber). Think what Martha Stewart could do with a recipe of acorns and lizards! Cant you picture Martha dressed out in fatigues diving into a dumpster behind a grocery store in Murphy, North Carolina, collecting food for her next gourmet meal on the run?

And the crowd goes wild with Schadenfreude!!!!! Dow didn't do too bad, either. The market does love a good perp walk. Average is about 100 pts/perp by my calculations.

Shame -BUT....... I think she'l get off ALL charges if it goes to a jury..... and besides, I think she's attractive. I think she's motivted, an American success story..... and all for a couple hundred thousand when she's worth (or was worth) millions and millions.
I think she got the call that it hit $60 and Waskell (sp?) was selling, so she gave the go-ahead. If his name wasn't mentioned, all would have been fine, since she had a standing order to sell at 60.
Shame it all happened. It's not like she walked away with 10 or 100 million like the Enron and Worldcom folks did.
