You guys have FReepmail. (Not really, but I feel so left out. LOL)

He had some of his toothless pals hide him awayThanks, appreciate the needless stereotype. Anything else you want to kick on Western North Carolinians for? As I've said if there were people that knew, the reason they didn't turn him in was out of distrust and dislike for federal officials on their land, not for what he may have believed

How are you on the issue of personal responsibility? Is it fair of the state to compel me to pay you money? Does it change things if I have made a contract to pay you the money?
If a woman chooses to expose herself to pregnancy by a man who she cannot trust to be an adequate father for the child that results therefrom, then she has "contracted" with that child to be its sole support, at least until someone else can take over (adoption).
We give government the power to compel us to live up to our obligations all the time. Think about that the next time you get into a car for the purpose of driving it.

Now that's a Jewell Fred...

Cat, look at the evidence in this case, not the bluster.
This guy was a hot commodity when you were in middle school. He's a sort of Robin Hood character to many out there.
Don't believe what the airwaves tell you to believe.

FYI ... when I realized that the guy I'd seen in the local pub was likely Eric Rudolph, I tried to piece together every hunch I could from the episode. One thing I will bet you is he had mucho assistance from at least the feamle that came in asking after him. I'd be willing to bet he wasn't eating grubs for a large part of the time he's been on the run, probably had Internet access somehow also ... libraries give free net time to card holders. His appearance wasn't scruffy and he paid cash for the one beer he sucked down and gave the barkeep a buck for use of the phone and likely paid cash for the cab ride he took from the pub. And one other thing, he was a bit cocky, almost daring. Somewhere his demeanor changed by the sound of his grubbing in garbage, perhaps it was being on the run so long took it out of him. But I still think he's derranged and showing it now. I sure could have used that million in the pro-life casue ... but he's likely merely a derranged murderer, not a pro-lifer.

Biltmore Estate in Asheville was and still is one of my faves. And everyone I saw had their teeth near as I could tell. And, no, didn't hear the rumor that Eric was hiding out in one of the zillion rooms, bajillion fireplaces or any part of that magnificent property.

He's not deranged; but you're delusional.

Who blew up people? Look at the evidence.
To: Fred Mertz
Now Fred, you'll have to explain that one to me, guy. How am I delusional?

Did you really meet Eric Rudolph and pass up the reward money?
To: bayou_billy
I have not advocated blowing people up.
But, if a war over abortion erupted, I have little doubt which side I'd be on.

Well there are a few issues that have ignition potential.
This one and gun confiscation seem to be at the forefront.

He must be a wiley terrorist that doesn't take credit for his handy work. Or did he? It's been so darn long since this all happened.
