I'll take the blame for the actions of one lone nut as soon as anyone on your side takes responsibility for the slaughter of more than 40,000,000 living human beings You are good...wish I had thought of that line. Well said.

"I know we've sparred a bit before but you are spot on here."
I can't sleep, so...
We've sparred? Hmm, I can't remember. I do this funny thing every single night for my own selfish reasons...I forgive everyone that when I ask for forgiveness I get it.
Even if they don't need forgiveness I forgive them - but I'm sure you needed to be forgiven!! LOL

It is already legal. the Fourth Amendment was interpreted by the Supreme Court to mean that such medical descisions were the province of a woman and her physician, and of course, her conscience.
The gradual loss of the Second Amendment shoiws us what can happen if we willingly surrender ANY rights to the state. If they say that the Fourth Amendment gives a Right to Privacy, then I'm all for holding on to it with both hands. Seldom do governments give back that which you surrender.

"Are you capable of differentiating between killing and murdering?" Yes. My profession sort of requires it.

I report you decide.
The proofs in the pudding. We'd never scrap unlesss that scenario unfolds.
No data to crunch.

That's a kill or be lilled situation. Well it's not that for a baby in the womb is it?
Who's gonna protect them if not the mother?
Folks won't stand up for innocent wee ones, what will they stand for?
...not too damned much.

I'm for the death penalty, under certian circustances. Rudolph isn't one of them. What is your criteria, Cathryn? I'm just curious. I haven't entirely thought this through, but I tend to think it should be given to those murderers who are a danger to society and cannot be rehabilitated. I think Rudolph may very well be one of them.
Why would you keep him alive?
To: Kryptonite
Rudolph is headed to Marion or Florence...both US max-joints. Alabama may send him to the chair in Holman but I'd venture the Feds will get first dibs.
Explosive devices used in political terrorism or something to that effect resulting in death.
I would guess mandatory life (no parole in Feds) or the Terre Haute death chamber..maybe.

Well, I said that without knowing too much about the case - something I seldom do. Bad Cathryn! ;-)
But, I believe in the death penalty only because our legal system is screwed up to the point that people who are imprisoned for life don't stay in jail their whole life. If there was a system whereby people who could not be rehabilitated stayed behind bars until they died a natural death, I'd be for it. However, we don't have that, so the death penalty is necessary for the most extreme of cases.
Honestly, I'm still in the unsure stage about the death penalty. I see pros and cons to both sides.

Let's see what the evidence is.

"It is already legal. the Fourth Amendment was interpreted by the Supreme Court to mean that such medical descisions were the province of a woman and her physician, and of course, her conscience."
Many laws are passed so that man can legally do that which is unlawful. That is, not right according to the laws of nature. You and the USSC can call the 'termination' murder of an innocent, unborn child whatever you want, but no matter how much lipstick you put on that pig, it's still just a stinking pig.
BTW, why is the dependent life of the party being destroyed not considered? Oh, that's right. You've already declared them persona non grata so what possible rights could they have?
"The gradual loss of the Second Amendment shoiws us what can happen if we willingly surrender ANY rights to the state."
I like this one. Here, you equate the right to defend innocent life with that of taking it. How quaint. Man, you are confused.
"If they say that the Fourth Amendment gives a Right to Privacy, then I'm all for holding on to it with both hands. Seldom do governments give back that which you surrender."
But you get to decide who 'is' and who gets rights, right? That 'might is right' thingy. If having a baby is 'convenient', it's still a baby. If not, well, it's just a 'lump of cells' or a 'fetus' or whatever makes us feel better in destroying it, as guilt free as we can rationalize.

You're thinking of John Rambo Fred.
He's a movie character.
Rudolph was forgotten. Not now. Not in my back yard.
We'd get him STAT. Bank on it. He had some of his toothless pals hide him away. Those guys need to go to Leavenworth forever, or until they die.
Then they can make their deluded pitch to the welcoming committee. I'm not hopeful, harboring a murderer and ambush maimer isn't one of the definitions for "Godly" or "moral".
Fred, Eric's starting a Website ... actually he bought a piece of the Free Mumia site, and he's already got some T-Shirts and coffee cups for sale. That guy's been eating grubs for 7 years, but he jumps right back into groove like a house afire.
Everybody onl FR should be saying "If Rudolph is convicted, he deserves maximum sentence and should be held as a pariah and a gutless terrorist and murderer."
And the wo-orld ... will be as one.

I can't remember either but thanks for forgiving me in any case...lol
I need all i can get.

So, your only challenge, IMO, appears to be in identifying whom is worthy of life and whom isn't. Then, it's just 'termination' and not murder. That's easy. It's been skin color, it's been faith or lack thereof. Now, it's just sheer convenience that defines who gets rights.

Pro-choice is a misnomer I've always insisted that the time for choice comes before a woman hits the sheets with "Mr. Wonderful".

You're thinking of John Rambo Fred. Then you know that we're talking about crooked cops and feebs, don't you?
