Do you really think "due process" will matter in this "case"? No.

So is Eric Robert Rudolph one of your heros?
And how do you address the murder of Alice Hawthorne, the woman who was murdered at the Olympic Park bombing? How does her death relate to abortion clinics?

I'm glad they finally caught him. In some ways, I'm glad that Reno Justice never got him.
What is his connection to the Olympic bombing? What was the motive there? While he seemed like a good fit for the abortion clinic and the gay nightclub, I always had the feeling they hung the olympic park bombing on him.

Eventually, he was cleared after the FBI, the news networks and the Atlanta newspaper had all "convicted" him. His life and any hope of a real career were ruined. If I'm not mistaken, he was given a settlement.

The FBI isn't very good at catching bombers...from the OKC to Richard Jewell.
Case in point at this interesting website. If the FBI caught him, he's probably innocent.;-)

That is true.It is not an issue in the Atlanta bombing.A mother was killed in front of her child. It does the anti abortion groups no favors when the militants become terrorists.

Eric Rudolph is not "one of my heroes" as you say. I am only stating that the charges against Rudolph are possibly blown out of proportion, and that thousands of innocents are murdered daily in abortion clinics. I do not subscribe to violence against abortion clinics or anyone else. If, and I repeat, IF Eric Rudolph is given a fair trial, and he is PROVEN to be the perpetrator of these crimes, then he deserves the harshest punishment possible. What if he is not guilty of all these crimes, and the Justice Department
has merely used him as a scapegoat?
To: DoctorMichael; YaYa123
If Rudolph did these things he should have his fingernails pulled out before they hang him. He is a criminal pure and simple. What I can almost guarantee is that before Monday am rolls around this will turn into a southern gun-toting white male bashing marathon. I don't want to watch any of the 24-hour networks anymore. But I will.
To: TommyDale
Ah, I see. You tentatively support him--or you're suspicious of the evidence against him--or he didn't do it--or the charges are overblown. Which is it, or is it a combination of the above?

CNN just announced that there will be a press conference in NC at 1 p.m. Eastern. The reporter said all indications are that it is Rudolph.

He is accused of planting a bomb outside an abortion clinic that seriously wounded a nurse who worked there. I cant remember if anyone died in that one.People died in the abortion clinic nearly every day.

If we could go back in the archives we could find a number of freepers who thought Rudolph was a hero. Hopefully, they have moved on to other forums by now.
No, they haven't. He seems to be engendering quite a bit of sympathy and support from a few freepers.

Rudolph stands accused of bombing abortion clinics and the summer Olympics in Atlanta...... TWA 800, USS Cole, World Trade Center And for every other unsolved crime possibly involving a bomb or something that makes a loud noise.

CNN is now interviewing Emily Lyons. Emily Lyons is a ghoul. I have read several interviews with her, and she is by no means a sympathetic person.

Also, a guy CNN is interviewing said the fingerprint analysis could take a day.
A DAY? WTF?
He is also wasting no time congratulating all his LEO pals for all their great work in the investigation.
HUH? It's been like 5 years with no leads! They found him by ACCIDENT today, but let the back-slapping begin.
(No offense to LEOs, btw, but some of these officials take credit for way too much.)
