I thought all the Olympics recently were bombs.

Because the FBI doesn't want another embarrassment. Not that it would be the same as accusing Jewell, an innocent guy just doing his job. I have been very interested in this story since the bombing in Atlanta and have yet to hear of any evidence at all connecting Rudolph. Admittedly, the FBI rarely confides in me. Now don't get me wrong, Rudolph is no hero in my book if he is responsible for any of those bombings.

Why would he? Just because he admitted he did in two other cases?
I don't think he's anti gay or anti abortion... I just think he's just a plain criminal nut...

There is a difference between civil disobedience and murdering people.
When temporal law disagrees with a Christian's interpretation of the Bible, a Christian might consider following his conscience and receive the consequences.
Murdering other people, especially at a random bombing, is not part of the Christian tradition of civil disobedience.

Rudolph's mistake was... he wasn't homeless in SF or somewhere like that... if he had been... no one would have even gave a second look because of the epidemic of homelessness there... He knew the terrority--but I'm still surprised he was captured at all. I really thought that he was either dead or in Europe, but he could've equally hid out in an area with a large homeless population, just blended in. I doubt if Murphy, North Carolina, has a large homeless population.

People have tried to hijack this into an abortion thread, but Rudolph himself admitted bombing the lesbian nightclub. Is it ok to bomb lesbians. You know, I bet most of them aren't going to have abortions, unless of course their girlfriend Michelle is really named Michael, and they got tricked.

Interesting article on how the evidence has vindicated McCarthy in this week's Human Events. Thanks for the information!
Do they sell that on newsstands? I am not a subscriber.

It took them 5 years to find this guy right here in the US. And everyone is screaming that we haven't caught Osama bin Laden or Saddam yet the FBI ain't exactly the U.S. military. and it sounds like rudolph was picked up by locals too.

Have they caught the person who mailed the anthrax yet, maybe they can hang it on this character.

Do they sell that on newsstands? I don't recall ever seeing it at a newsstand.

Really? They have all this evidence from the Atlanta Olympic Park bombing? Then why did they first arrest Richard Jewell?
To: marajade
See post #54, where he takes credit and explains why. Notice that he doesn't take credit for the Olympic bombing!
Apparently, he thinks he's anti-gay and anti-abortion.

Sorry to hear that.
I picked up a couple of copies at CPAC, and meant to subscribe, but just forgot.

I don't think they will try and get him on the Olympic bombing, because what is the evidence? They will likely pursue the clinic and bar attacks, that is enough to go with death penalty cases for those incidents. but the media will likely push about the Olympic bombing, but does anyone know what the evidence is against Rudolph for that case?
BUMP for later... I've gotta get to work on my "honey-do" list.

Like I stated... some good ol' country sheriff... I bet they have a handful in the entire sheriff's department...
To: TommyDale
I'm just repeating that was being reported on TV... you can choose to believe or not...
They stated that the bomb materials in all three had similarities and they are aware of his background in the military and his familarity with bombs...

Bump.

Why a sealed affidavit? Remember Waco's sealed affidavit?
Perhaps to protect the identity of informants. It's not that uncommon.
