I would say every professional golfer, including the minor tours, have at least a 2 handic I knew a guy who was a scratch player - never got to play in any tournaments though.

Drive is barely left of the fairway. First fairway missed. How's the lie

10th (par 4, 404 yds): On the fairway twice, birdie putt is 18" short, makes par.
11th (par 5, 609 yds): On the fairway all three shots, birdie putt is 10" short, makes par.
12th (par 4, 443 yds): On the fairway, second shot on the rim of the green, makes par.
13th (par 3, 178 yds): 3 inches off of the carpet, birdie putt is GOOD!
14th (par 4, 457 yds): On the green in two, long birdie putt is 6" short, makes par.
15th (par 4, 430 yds): Drive is barely left of the fairway, and still knocks it onto the green. 20ft putt coming

She was on the right side and in the fairway... hit the green on approach about 15 - 20 ft for bird

One of my good buddies holds several course records here in GA.
Can drive the ball 330. Can place it w/in 5 feet of the pin from 125 yards almost everytime. Can make 25 foot putts consistently. Can get up and down from the bunker like it's nobody's business. But, he cannot handle the pressure. Hacked around on some of the mini-tours for a few years and gave it up. He managed to qualify for the US Open, but he didn't make the cut.
What seperates him from the true pro's is all mental.

Well, I lied to her with the old "I have a corvette" line, but it didn't work.

Here we go, she missed her first fairway in the wet grass..not the strength issue comes into play.. Yea, her lack of strength really hurt her, on the green, 20' putt....... That crow smells good in that oven don't it?

So much for the rough giving her problems..

I always heard you drive for show... and put for dow. A hot putter can fix a lot of problems.

Sorenstam averaging 250 so far on her drives, her two journeymen partners averaging 275 and above, according to tv graphic.
To: HamiltonJay
Her distance really isn't a factor on this "short" course.
She chose the Colonial for a specific reason. It's "only" 7,000 yards.

Looks like she's taking the strategy that defines Tiger Woods when he's protecting a lead...his motto is "fairways and greens, and give yourself a chance a birdie every so often." Perhaps this was part of their phone conversation?
To: ewing
The question is going to be can she consistently hit bigger irons than the guys with similar accuracy..... and will her putter keep her in it.

BWAHAHAH - I was thinking the same thing - Like who dressed her today? She really needs a fashion consultant.
I really feel bad for the two other players she is paired with - they must be under enormous pressure.

Actually her lack of strength would severely cripple her on the Men's Tour full-time. On this, the smallest course, it doesn't, since the other aspects of her game are so really good.
