Amazing how people here are bashing and rooting against her. They act as if she sued the PGA Tour to get a spot.
She would crush each and every one of them, every single time in match play.

Allowing men to compete in the LPGA would make about as much sense as letting 20-somethings play in the Senior Tour.

Did she have to qualify for it like all of the other guys in it? Just how did she get into the PGA tournament?
To: ewing
I would have taken the under. This is a lot of fun to watch.

Anything is possible. Having worked out extensively myself, I know the limitations. I've seen people who used steroids and other enhancements to get ahead. It would not surprise me in her case, would certainly give her a big edge on the women.

Bank of America holds 8 exemptions total. What 7 men don't deserve to be here?

This bravado thing is very stupid. The facts are men are bigger, and stronger.
I didn't say they weren't. In fact, I was composing a message saying the same when you posted this one. The post I was responding to was questioning whether she took steriods to put on muscle mass. I was only pointing out that she's been working out very hard and that some of y'all would stop being so threatened and trying to trash her you might see that she really is an extraordinary athelete.

Announcer: "I don't think I've ever seen Colonial play any easier than it is today."
To: Guillermo
I did make the brash statement that if she got decent breaks, she could par this course. I don't think she can do it four days in a row but she is capable of parring any course.

Annika got a sponsors exemption, this being a private inviational tourney.
The only qualification is that you have to have a less than '2' handicap..

Did she have to qualify for it like all of the other guys in it? Just how did she get into the PGA tournament?she received a 'sponsor's exemption'. Those are the 4 or 5 spots handed out to whoever the sponsor wants to. Often they go to good local college players or an older professional with some sort of local tie-in -- people like that. Annika is not costing anyone a spot in the tournament who would be considered a regular tour player.

This long dogleg left requires a draw off tee and a long approach shot. The green can be tricky. |

The praise the announcers keep heaping on her is sickening. We all know that because if the PC world we live in, they're all afraid to criticize anything she does.
She's playing really well, and deserves credit for that, but come on, their praise is so over the top.
