Look, I knew Ruben was going to win; but if it had been based on these last two shows....heck, even tonight -- Ruben would have lost.

He was fading in the final weeks; he's lucky it ended tonight, which does not bode well for his career.

As for all the remarks about the overwieght remarks, I believe his SIZE is a big concern. He couldn't even sing 3 songs with breaks in between without breaking into a sweat; he'll NEVER be able to carry a show by himself.

And I am saying that as a person who is most definitley NOTTt an Audrey Hepburn.

Yep! See I've been on this danged Atkin thang and I am prejudiced against not having chocolate!I was taught very early in school, define prejudice. Now, on Linkletter's kids their explanations were adorable. I have an update from our Fox affiliate. They re-upped the separation to 130K. They said "so there's no way for a recount." ha, ha, ha. Fox fixed this thing via the phone bank out of San Antonio so that Ruben would win. He just wasn't the best; except his sweat glands work well.

Remember the lead singer of The Bangles?

I caught a Behind the Music on them and it went into when she went solo. She bombed. She was a skinny, fit, young thang and she said she could not believe how hard it was to carry an entire show by herself. She said it was incredibly difficult and took incredible stamina to sing her heart out for 2-3 hours every night, night after night.

Even Mick Jagger goes into weight and run training before he goes on tour. Series.

Y'all should not be so sensitive. I think this thread is a hoot. I did not read all the posts,but what I read was just thoughts, not anything bigoted. Both fellas seem to be beauiful christians that would be welcome at my table anytime.
