Sad to say, but at least Bush won a few counties in New Jersey last time, although he lost the state by 11 points, if not more. He failed to carry A SINGLE county in Connecticut. I guess Litchfield County is more dominated by expatriate Hollyweirders than I once thought.

Yeah, it's disgusting up here, isn't it? I guess you're right about Litchfield County - I really don't know what the makeup of that area is anymore (we're technically in Hartford County - pure 'RAT country).

Well, WE voted for Dubya in 2000... 2004 will be interesting. I would guess that President Bush wins at least one county in CT in '04, unless the economy tanks (even more than it has).

My little conservative town --- which has an unpaid Mayor and Council who don't run on any party platform ---- who used to be staunchly conservative, went for Gore. Gads! It must have been the SoccerMoms, or they caught the liberal bug from arty Montclair.
