Yeah, it's disgusting up here, isn't it? I guess you're right about Litchfield County - I really don't know what the makeup of that area is anymore (we're technically in Hartford County - pure 'RAT country).

Well, WE voted for Dubya in 2000... 2004 will be interesting. I would guess that President Bush wins at least one county in CT in '04, unless the economy tanks (even more than it has).

Well Dustin Hoffman, Glenn Close, Meryl Streep and countless other Hollywood types call Litchfield County home, with the town of Roxbury being a particular fave. Lots of Entertainment industry executives have "country houses" there too. From what I understand, it is sort of like the Hamptons without a beach.

BTW: I'm no expert on the Nutmeg state. Beyond Fairfield, Connecticut might as well be Massachusetts to me. ;-)
