President Bush began the day by speaking at the United States Chamber of Commerce in Washingtion about the economy and his proposed stimulus package. Bush then met with Jerry Bremer, who he appointed presidential envoy to Iraq. Later in the day, the President welcomed Prime Minister Goh of Singapore and signed a free-trade pact between the United States and Singapore. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Thank you. The boy, oops, I mean man in the middle and his twin brother (not pictured) are officers now. The one in the picture is slated to swear me back in when I get the "unretirement" paperwork pushed through. Latest is that it may be less than a month now.

You're BAD! :-)
BTW, did any of you hear "Karen" on Rush's show today? There's a thread running on it. She is one confused, angry Democrat.

Thanks. I'm very pleased with my performance on the finals.
I'll be going back in the fall. This was my freshman year, so I've still got a ways to go.

Well, Nan, let's start working on that now, OK?
I was thinking about going to the Glenn Beck Rally for America in WV on Memorial Day, but that's not going to work out for us.
I really want to get together with you again! Really!!
(What a night that was when we met, and also met our President! ......and sat around the computer together like teenagers laughing and posting to the Dose! I'll never be able to thank you enough for that night, dear friend!!)

Weather's hot and muggy here. (The distance from here to Jackson is about from you to Phoenix...)
The schmucks kicked in the back door, and left some mess, but things could have been much worse.
I'll tell you more via mail.

I'll be able to be online with you guys. I don't know if it will be as often as during the school year just because of work and stuff.
I meant I was going to miss all the friends from college.

Dad always made sure we remembered that he outranked us all. But I somehow managed to earn twice as many ribbons and medals (course they give them away like candy these days).
He was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel while I was in Basic Training and waited to tell me until I got home, by way of showing up at the airport in his new rank and special hat that LTC's and above wear. I nearly dropped all my gear to salute before I remembered that you don't salute indoors! And there I was with my little two stripes and two ribbons.
But he was nearly bursting his buttons to see his eldest child come home from basic training. I was followed by all four of my brothers. One sister was the only hold out! Dad was VERY persuasive.

Thanks for calling our attention to your profile page. That's a great picture, and a great story behind it.
Thanks to you and your brothers and your father for your service to our country.
I guess surviving in a family with four brothers is good training for military life!
