Yes Jim, and you're a prime example of what happens to people who abandon their principles, they end up being an "independent" with no friends.

I'm not as angry at Snow and Voinavich as some around here, but I think they're being silly and not approaching this in a smart manner. They could still get their spending concessions without looking like they are totally against tax cuts.

Frist needs to stand up more.

Jeffords, why does than name sound familiar? Didn't there use to be a Senator named Jeffords who became utterly irrelevant when the Republicans took back the Senate?

Jeffords Warns GOP: Pressure Can Backfire

Sounds like a personal problem. I suggest taking some Gas-X.

not-too-subtle words of advice... Don't forget what happened the last time you tried this.

The public will go nuts if this happens again. The Democrats are welcome to win all the elections they can, but coupes d'etat are not welcome in the United States. They will find out just how unwelcome in 2004 if they try it.

Jumpin Jim is a liar. His deal to change parties was set before the election, and had nothing to do with any pressure from any Pubbie. He deceived the voters of Vermont who should have recalled the donkey, and now he has the nerve to threaten the Republicans?

Jeffords must be a total idiot. His only legacy will be that of a traitor.
